Club Illusion — Restaurant in Karnataka

This rooftop pub is the "only pub" in hassan, which lacks the quality, since there is no competition : Below average in terms of - food, service and atmosphere. the staff are under employed : there was just one or two who does all the work (bartending, food service, billing, etc.,). Ambience - Apt to the name of illusion: lift is till 5th floor - once out of the lift there is no clue where to head further. DO USE THE LIFT; by any chance if you decide to take stairs the building looks haunted and that security person shouts at you for no reason. The price is above par for the quality of the food and service. Not a place for family.

The management of the hotel had changed. So, has the staff and the menu. The menu is limited and majority of the food had no taste. We were a group of 8 and we ordered a lot of food. Almost 10k worth. However, of all those only the anjal fish fry, chicken tandoori and kalmi kebab was good. Rest of the food were average. Dal kichdi was provided with no raita or pickle and was refused by server even when asked.

The music is too loud and will eventually damage your ears.

It was a good place, but, not anymore.

Best place to party in Hassan. Nice food, good service...

We had high hopes for this restaurant, but the experience was disappointing. We asked if we could play some light music at our table—nothing loud or disruptive—just to create a nice atmosphere while we ate. Instead of a simple no or a polite explanation, the staff reacted quite harshly and made a big deal out of it.

It became a talking point among other guests, too, which tells you it wasn’t just us who felt the reaction was over the top. There was no sense of hospitality or effort to make us feel welcome—just strict rules with no room for reasonable conversation.

Definitely not the kind of vibe you want when going out to...
