Feel bad to bring down the highest rating I gave in the past and to describe how terrible the quality of food, maintenance and the staff attitude has degraded over the years in this Domino’s outlet. Use to be one of my favourite Domino’s joint for many years visited recently after a long gap (due to opening of an outlet nearer to home).
The food was delivered 5-10mins later than the Dine-in order switching statuses from Ready and Delivered, on checking with staff about the food was not delivered but the status displays delivered some minutes ago they said “it will be supplied to desk in few minutes as the food is under cooking”, which itself is a bad practice changing its status to ready and delivered while still getting ready.
Coming to the order that was delivered, it was incomplete, after bringing just pizzas without drink and dip keeping on the table the staff was asking us, “didn’t I deliver the drink?” common you have everything that you had brought on the table itself, staff had responsibility to check the order vs what she had collected to deliver but asking customer what she had brought shows how careless they are about the order fulfilment.
Started eating pizza that was already looked cold, the bottom and top of the base is over cooked while inner is uncooked(felt sticky and raw), asking about it staff took it to show to the staff in kitchen and said “it is perfect we can’t find any wrong”, humiliating me reporting the genuine quality of it. I am not for eating a free meal even though they later said they can replace it if I want, I didn’t accept one but instead gave the genuine real feedback about my experience with food and staff behaviour. While someone came to check on the feedback given apologised for the staff behaviour, I don’t think they would change their behaviour based on what I really saw on many things including the restaurant atmosphere, etc.

Read moreI went to the dominos store and saw the menu. On the menu the chicken supreme large pizza was showing as 699 (menu photo attached) The attendant/server asked me to pay Rs 964.95. Which I paid and waited for the bill/invoice. But the attendant didn't give me the invoice copy - instead she told me my order number and it will be ready in 15 mins. After about 15mins when I came back to pick the pizza. The pizza was ready when I picked it up I asked for a invoice copy to which she showed a slip of paper which mentioned only the total price as 964.95. I asked them why on the menu it's mentioned 699 and I am charged 964.95 the lady said it includes gst. I told them then give me the gst invoice. They said that the gst invoice is smsed to me - I showed that last message from Dominos but no invoice. She then showed disappointment on her face and got the invoice printed and gave me the invoice. When I received the invoice I was shocked to see pizza billed at 919 + 5% gst = 964.95. I asked them to clarify and give me the refund for the difference amount on the menu n billed amount. One staff member came and said the menu is old and the old prices are printed on the menu. When I asked why the customer has to be made a bakra by showing old prices and charging excess - they had no answer. I insisted to get me the store manager. They said they don't have a store manager. I asked for a pen to note down their names. And the person just went inside never to come out. I left disappointed with a lesson learnt. Dominos you guys are cheating openly. The price quoted in Menu card is different than the Bill generated. Upon asking the billing counter lady she is clueless and said she don't know why and just laughing.
The billing counter staff lady doesnt care if any customer is standing in counter to give order she just keeps laughing and talking with other staffs while I was patiently waiting for her to finish chatting with her colleagues.
When I said take away they are forcing me to purchase the carry bag which I clearly said I dont want as I have my own carry bag but the billing counter lady said she have no option than to charge me for carry bag. So I had to change my order as Dine In and once Food is ready I carried out anyways.
Upon asking that I would like to speak to a store Manager about forcing customers to pay for Bag the billing counter staff said the Manager went to attend another critical issue and currently not available. While the reason seemed genuine there should be another person trained to take decisions or address customers concern.
The scan and order in the table redirects to download and install the app and when I did the same product cost very less than what I ordered in counter.
I ended up in paying more than what I could have ordered for lesser price in mobile App from the same store.
Dominoz clearly wants customers to order from home or app than walkin to stores.
No complaints on food taste though. But...
