What a letdown.
We were really looking forward to a nice meal, but the experience turned out to be absolutely terrible. We ordered chicken biryani, and I’m certain the rice wasn’t fresh — it tasted like it was made in the morning and just reheated or fried again for dinner. You can’t miss that stale, dry texture.
The chicken itself was undercooked and had a strange, unpleasant smell. My wife felt sick after just one bite — she genuinely looked like she was about to throw up. It was upsetting and honestly made us lose our appetite completely.
We had also ordered a starter — Dragon Chicken — and that was just as bad. The chicken was tough, dry, and clearly not fresh. I had to call the staff and tell them it wasn’t acceptable. They tried to defend it, but eventually agreed to take it back and didn’t charge us for it — which, frankly, is the bare minimum.
And here’s the worst part: while we were sitting there, we saw cockroaches crawling around the dining area. It was disgusting. If that’s the condition of the dining space, I don’t even want to imagine what the kitchen must look like.
All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. If you're in the area, just skip this place and go to the Udupi restaurant next door — we ended up going there later, and the difference in quality and cleanliness was night and day.
We’re definitely never...
Read moreIts chill weather in coorg and found this restaurant. Its decent reviews so we went to try few items.
We have started with Veg manchow soup which was served hot. We had added pepper powder to make it spicy!
Then we have moved to Paneer fried rice( rs 150) and it was decent in taste, we have expected it will be prepared in basmati rice but it was normal white rice. Quantity was decent !
We have ordered Butter Roti and Rainbow Special chicken masala. Butter roti was soft and fluffy coated with a layer of butter. It was good and goes well with the chicken gravy.
Rainbow Special Chicken masala was showstopper. It was very good in taste, and it had right amount of spices level. It had 8 big pieces of chicken and the gravy quantity was pretty good too.
Overall we had good experience! Ideally this place is suitable for non vegetarian than the...
Read moreI would like to share my honest experience with the intention of helping improve your services. Unfortunately, my visit was quite disappointing.
The food quality was far below expectations. The tandoori roti was rubbery, and the paneer felt like chewing gum—extremely difficult to eat.
We were served food after more than an hour of waiting, which is unacceptable for any gathering or event.
The curries were of very poor quality, lacking both taste and freshness.
To make matters worse, the management was unresponsive and behaved as if nothing was wrong. There was no proper communication or acknowledgment of the issues faced.
This experience was far from what any guest would expect. I sincerely hope these points are taken seriously and improvements are made for...
