Hill View — Hotel in Karnataka

I am writing this review to save others peoples who are doing their booking / thinking to book this hotel in the upcoming days/ years with your family/partner/colleagues.

This is not in the category of a 3-star hotel, it's a lodge with a poor and old building with no LIFT and other amenities. They are looters and they are simply cheating hard-earned money by displaying the fake details of the hotels and accommodations. We booked our stay and during check-in, the receptionist lady told us we don't entertain booking reservations, We have to book directly and she was calling again and again to his colleague what to do since our bookings were confirmed. No LIFT, Dirty rooms with no fans, broken basin, smelling bed After 10min they shifted us to one room and in within the next 10min they asked us to vacate this room as they will fix the room and we need to shift to another lodge nearby. We thought the other lodge will be good and we can pass for one day at least, things were worst than worse, I decided to quit the entire booking and file a case complaint against this hotel Once I am reaching back, will file a consumer case against this property owner for fraudulence and harassment and submitted the same concern to the booking support team as well.

Moral - Never and Ever get into this fishy hotel , save your money,...

There are hardly few good things which I'll list down first The hill view is good for sunset if you are lucky to get the west side rooms The location is good and walkable from the bus stand and all shops and eateries nearby.

Let me list down the problems now Room smells bad even after using room fresheners. No lifts. Have to use narrow stairs. Will be difficult for elders. Leaking taps. No hot water in the morning when you need it. Even after going down to reception multiple times, they never fixed it. They just say, please go to the room and turn the knob properly as if we are dumb. Rude and unprofessional receptionists. Even if you complain about some issue, they just say "oh okay" and they don't even look at your face. They don't give the toiletries and other things until you ask them. How will the customers know what all you're providing. Very limited breakfast options and that too is Kerala cuisine. So better to opt for a package without food. There are many good eateries nearby within the walkable range. Only Kerala cuisine looks fresh. All other food tastes horrible and spoiled.

Your peace and patience will be tested a lot and might spoil your vacation mood. So better to avoid this if you're planning for multiple days. Should be manageable for a...

Bad ambiance. Pictures uploaded online look good. But its a trap. Once you book from any online portal or app they directly deduct 50% amount of total payment. Because that is main source of income of their business. Once you reach there you can see the ambiance is not at all good. No sun light and fresh air on any any floor. No lift to get your luggage to the room. Windows are not cleaned. Seating places at the window is very clumsy and dirty. To Celling fan only table fan is provided with horrible noise. Power cut issues frequently seen. Prices are too much high as compared to the services offered.

At the Check in time the rooms were not prepared. We waited too long to get into the room. Finally decided to cancel the booking but no refund process at all.

Bathroom is having typical odur of public toilets.

Never recommend to any tourist.

Staff is not aware why customer is irritated.

Worst service. Worst experience.
