Hotel Shree Vanashree — Restaurant in Karnataka

Probably my favorite place to have food while travelling. Vanashree is a newly opened food joint that serves excellent quality food. The tase mostly matches our South Indian cuisine which attracted me the most. We were able to finish whatever we ordered without any hesitation. Our group ordered Idlis, masale dose, davanagere benne dose, Puri and uppittu. Most of them being a breakfast choice, everything was top notch. The prices are a bit expensive but not to an extent that needs a second thought. Overall, it's way better than Hotel Bangalore International that's somewhere near the bazaar in M G road. I'm only rating it four stars because the restroom is literally unusable which is disappointing since most travellers would...

It's in Bijapur on the road towards the Gol Gumbaz just before hotel Madhuvan international about 500 meters from Gol Gumbaz. It's an average veg hotel. The prices are moderate but needs better ambience and cleanliness. The food is good. Hotel is spacious and seating capacity is high. There's also an AC family dining area. There's not much crowd and one will get seats even if they come in a group. Thali meals and several other Karnataka good are available. Visited Sep 2024. Been here only once. Had Bene Dose and Coffee (Rs 107). Went to the AC section because I also wanted to charge my mobile ;-) Will visit again, food was good. Owner and Staff are very helpful and friendly. Pics attached. But, no menu card (?!) and no spoons (!).

Second visit. Had Tomato Omlette (Rs 75). Not too good. Taste so-so, bit rubbery. Waiter was a bit insolent. Rating reduced to 3-star. Coffee served here is not filter coffee, lousy taste, and smell....
