Kamat Restaurant — Restaurant in Karnataka

I have visited this Kamat Restaurant four times with my friends. Kamat Restaurant building is very beautiful. Tables ,chairs , furniture are beautiful and comfortable. Looks, lights are marvellous. A/c. Room of restaurant is nice. Staff are good.Manager is nice and friendly. Now, let me explain about the food, tiffin here. Iddli, dosa,Puri, baji etc. are not prepared well. As compared to food items of other good restaurants in Bijapur, food items here in Kamat Restaurant are NOT prepared well. Very poor. Visitors often visit seeing the hotel building structure and looks. But complain about food items. Prices are also very high as compared to other famous hotels here. To be very honest, I don't recommend this hotel restaurant for families and friends. This is my and my friends opinion and experience. Honest review. Thanks for reading...

I visited Kamat Restaurant in Vijayapura, Karnataka, today and was quite disappointed with the experience. I ordered Paneer Butter Masala and Kaju Masala, and unfortunately, there was no significant difference in taste between the two dishes. It felt like they simply added cashews to the Kaju Masala without altering the flavor profile.

Had dinner on 1st Oct 2023 before travelling to back bangalore the next day morning, three family members fell ill, vomitted 6 to 7 times, bad stomach, had to take my daughter to al-ameen hospital at 6 in the morning for medical attention.we had to stay back in bijapur another day to recover. We left the next day still recovering from illness, bad stomach. absolutely unhygienic place, please avoid this hotel, if you are concerned about your and your family member health.
