Kottureshwara Uttara Karnataka Khanavali — Restaurant in Karnataka

I am unsure why this place is rated as 4. Seeing the reviews I visited this place with utter disgust of service wherein your order is taken and forgotten. I had to remind the waitress of my order constantly and she was just nodding head that order is being taken. For next set of jowar rotis you need to wait at least 17-18 min by then your hand dries out along with the hunger. Order of the holige had to be repeated nearly 5-6 times then when it was not delivered and wanted to wrap up then the waitress assures it would be given and makes us again wait for 10-12 minutes. Observed another thing if you are repetitive customer then order is respected and delivered if you are new then fire and forget. Never recommending this...

Food is good, taste has been maintained and is not spicy like it has to be (authentic Uttara Karnataka). However, the price has been increased which on one hand doesn't make sense to the food served and on the other hand it makes sense as they do not charge additional amount for the palya and gojju they serve (Other hotels charge if you ask additional palya or gojju). Overall, irrespective of the price increase this would still be the place I would go...

It's a small hotel which serves a best meal.. For a single roti it is 30 and half rice it is 30. There is less place but it feels like home... The people who serve there it feels like grandmother who used to ask everything everytime.. It's good.. Food is also good but not more spicy according to mysore people the taste is fine and best. I personally recommend this place,atleast once in your life time...
