Third Wave Coffee — Restaurant in Karnataka

This was my third visit to this branch.just bcoz i am a fan of third wave, i didn't write a negative review earlier. Manager is a liar and irresponsible. They have no sense of hospitality. Pathetic staff. The staff will keep poking you saying some random things like if you try to go upstairs as soon as you enter, they will stop you and ask you to place order first, or they will tell you that we don't serve on the table, or some stupid intervention. Today was worst which forced me to write the review. Their timings on google is 12 midnight. We were there at 10.45pm. they conveniently punch our order. Then we wanted to sit upstairs, they said that it is closed for cleaning. We said that you can continue cleaning just give us one table but then they said that they dont have permission after certain hour. This line they kept repeating during the whole conversation. Then we were forced to sit downstairs.and the staff is so mannerless that they started switching off the lights before even delivering our order, they dropped down the curtains also. when we asked them that why they are shuting down they again they repeated the dialogue of "permission". We confronted them that why they punched our order if they were about to close. Then they pointed out that the guy is new who punched the order, where as other 3 guys were also there. Was there no one who knew that you were closing down at 11 when the mentioned time is 12??? Or you were just bothered about getting a new sale and to hell with serving. We literally sat outside the coffee shop with the street dogs. May be they were not at all interested in serving and just keen to close and go home. The manager is shameless and mannerless. He did try to apologise on false pretext of the guy being new and kept lying on our face that he was not there while order was being punched. He himself was there but he didn't utter a word. Just to mention, lights upstairs were still on and a few lights were on downstairs also till 11:30 at least. So we don't know what specific permission they were missing on??? They just spoiled our experience as we were celebrating an event. Such branches shud be closed which bring bad name to a brand. Just money minded pathetic people. Pls pls don't visit your spoil your evenings Not recommended to visit at all bcoz of poor staff poor service and zero hospitality. We saw that others have written similar reviews of such experience. We wish that we had read them...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thirdwave coffee Airport Road. and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the coffee was also top-notch, and the service was impeccable.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure that every aspect of my dining experience was perfect. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations, ensuring that I chose dishes that suited my preferences.

As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Whether it was the perfectly cooked main course or the delectable desserts, every bite was a delight to the senses.

And let's not forget about the coffee! It was hands down some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. Rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed, it was the perfect complement to my meal.

Overall, I cannot recommend Thirdwave coffee Airport Road highly enough. The combination of excellent food, coffee, and service truly made for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning in the future and will be telling all my friends and family about this hidden gem."

Ambience - they have three seating areas, all are not bad and have their own pros and cons

One: as your enter near the counters (good coffee aroma but also constant distraction of people entering and ordering), Two: upstairs open area which is non smoking, excellent on a slighly rainy day when the dust is settled but be ready for a lot of traffic noise Three: upstairs air conditioned, which is quiter and can get quite cold

Food - Not really upto the mark. We had a honey mustard chicken sandwich, scallion cream cheese bagel, banana walnut cake slice. The cream cheese in bagel was good but bagel was not soft like a freshly baked is, probably the breads are not that fresh, same story with chicken sandwich ( also the mustard a bit too tangy for us). The banana walnut cake was good (good flavor, not too sweet) but was not as moist as one expect it to be (perhaps due to microwaving). Frankly the food was underwhelming, there are be still few items that I would want try though (maybe at their other outlet).

Coffee - Coffees were really good, we had a Vienna and monsoon Malabar - both were pretty good. One suggestion is to make staff more aware on which coffee beans / coffee is available ( thanks to thier app I saw monsoon Malabar which I was wanting to try for sometime).

Service is great and everyone was patient...
