Al Taza is a restaurant that left a lasting impression on me with its Full Meat Shawarma. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, complete with Middle Eastern-inspired decor that set the tone for the culinary experience ahead.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the Full Meat Shawarma. Served on a freshly baked pita, the shawarma was bursting with flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The perfectly seasoned and tender meat, coupled with a medley of fresh vegetables and a dollop of creamy tahini sauce, created a harmonious and satisfying blend of textures and tastes. Each bite was a delight, leaving me craving for more.
The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that the dining experience was pleasant. However, one minor downside was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was a bit too warm, especially on a hot day, which detracted slightly from the overall comfort of the visit.
Nonetheless, the culinary journey at Al Taza was memorable and delightful. In addition to their signature shawarma, the menu offered a wide range of other Middle Eastern delicacies, including falafel, hummus, and grilled kebabs. The variety allowed me to explore different flavors and expand my appreciation for Middle Eastern cuisine.
Al Taza's commitment to using fresh ingredients was evident in the quality of their dishes. The attention to detail and the passion for creating authentic flavors were apparent in every aspect of the meal.
In conclusion, Al Taza is a restaurant worth visiting for any shawarma enthusiast or lover of Middle Eastern cuisine. Despite the slight discomfort caused by the warm interior, the delectable Full Meat Shawarma and the inviting atmosphere make it a culinary destination not to be missed. I look forward to returning to Al Taza to indulge in their mouthwatering...
Read moreI literally have no idea why they would cut down on their quantity…The real issue is their full meat chicken cost 180 rupees on online platforms like swiggy and zomato for which they charge only 150 for dine in and take away… This itself is a huge let down because the quantiy for Rs.150 itself is not actually satisfying and you have to pay Rs.30 more on zomato and swiggy which charges an extra of 9 rupees GST also seperately is in by no way justifiable…
The taste is actually pretty good But for someone who have had the same dish from their real branch at cochin will never say that it is the same thing…The one in cochin i would give a solid 10/10 but i think anybody who have also had the same from altaza cochin would agree to what i said…
I have had their full meat chicken and even beef on the inauguration day in calicut itself and i must say it was absolutely spot on to both the quantity and the quality(Taste) in comparison to the cochin altaza… As a regular customer who always never forgets to have a full meat altaza shawarma whenever he visits calicut city people like me will even agree that they have witnessed the branch going down on their taste and also way much more on the food quantity for the money paid…
Sorry to say this but I being a person who was thrilled when altaza opened up in my hometown is no longer having the same excitement at all…
Altaza used to be the best shawarma in calicut then…But i thnk there are others now only because you guys compromised on the taste and the quantity…
I know you all know exactly that what i am talking…
Therefore I strongly urge you to consider our reviews and bring back that magic altaza calicut had when it first opened up in calicut and snatch back the best shawarma title from the others...
