A Culinary Masterpiece: Dining at All Spice, Kochi

From the moment you step into All Spice you’re enveloped in an ambiance that radiates sophistication and warmth. The elegant décor, softly lit interiors, and perfectly arranged tables set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

The service is impeccable. The staff effortlessly strikes the balance between attentiveness and discretion. Our server was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely enthusiastic, guiding us through the evening with thoughtful recommendations tailored to our preferences.

The meal itself was a symphony of flavors. We began with the starters

1. Chicken Zafran (Saffron) Tandoori which was extremely well cooked soft cushiony feel with a hint of Saffron at the end.
2. Chicken Tandoori, which was Classic perfectly marinated where each bite was a burst of freshness and ingenuity. For the main course, the [Ghosh Nihari] was nothing short of divine—cooked to perfection, its flavors perfectly balanced.

The attention to detail extended to the King of South-East Asia food The Biryani and not any Biryani it was Mutton Awadhi Biryani which was a masterpiece.

And then in Dessert The super creamy Shahi Tukda was crisp,sweet and delicious.

Every dish showcased the chef’s mastery and passion for the craft, using the finest ingredients to create flavors that were both bold...

This is tagged as a fine-dining establishment in many platforms. Calling it so, is a disservice to the notion of fine dining. The restaurant is inside what seems like a room that was originally a corridor, which was then converted to a small event space. Far away from the madding crowd, maybe hiding from embarrassment. The service was very robotic, with the waiters acting like poorly trained AI agents which are hallucinating and can only repeat memorized phrases over and again. Simple requests such as bringing all the food out as and when they are ready are met with what appeared to be prompt eagerness to please, only to be then forgotten as the service falls back to it's default state of the one dimensional approach to customer service that they are taught in culinary schools. Food takes eons to make an appearance, and when it does make an appearance and you take your first bite, you realize that it sure wasn't worth the...

Had an incredible Onam Sadhya experience at All Spice restaurant! 🥗🌿 The traditional Onam feast was incredibly amazing with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch - great staff, attentive and friendly. 💯 Highly recommend trying the Onam Sadhya here if you're looking for a genuine Kerala culinary experience! 👌

Abraham Athul, sharon and Amrit were so great in serving and also making sure the customer knows what onam food is all about. Took their time in explaining about the culture. At the same time the privacy was also given which was really nice experience.

I would definitely come and try this again. Feeling happy that I didn't leave kerala...
