I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bey Cho with my family, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable food experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal.
The highlight, of course, was the food. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and prepared to perfection. We started with their thenga chooru, which immediately stood out for its authentic taste and aromatic richness. The paal kappa was equally delightful, soft and perfectly cooked, blending beautifully with the subtle flavors. To top it off, the dessert we ordered was heavenly, the right balance of sweetness and presentation, leaving us wanting more.
But the star of the night was undoubtedly their signature dish – Pothum Kaalu. It was an absolute showstopper, bursting with traditional flavors that were both unique and unforgettable. The spices were balanced to perfection, and the dish carried that homely touch that made it feel authentic yet special.
Dining at Bey Cho is more than just having a meal; it’s truly an experience of Kerala’s rich culinary heritage, served with love and care. My whole family enjoyed every bite, and we left with happy hearts and satisfied appetites. This is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who...
Read moreI had a wonderful dining experience at Beycho Wayanad Restaurant. The meal was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. For the main course, I ordered a dish that appeared to be beef roast, and it was outstanding. The meat was tender and full of flavor, with a rich, dark gravy that was perfect for dipping. I paired it with what looked like soft, flaky rice crepes (pathiri), which were the ideal accompaniment. The combination was incredibly satisfying and truly highlighted the authentic flavors of the region. I also tried a fresh and vibrant salad. It was a mix of crisp lettuce, red cabbage, and what seemed to be a variety of other fresh vegetables, all topped with generous croutons. The salad was light, crunchy, and served as a great palate cleanser. To finish the meal, I indulged in a dessert that was a spectacle to behold. It was a tall, layered sundae served in a glass goblet, with a large scoop of what looked like a tutti-frutti or mixed ice cream on top. The layers underneath seemed to include fruits, sauces, and possibly jellies, making for a delightful and refreshing end to the meal. Overall, Beycho Wayanad Restaurant offers a fantastic culinary experience with flavorful dishes and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and delicious food...
Read moreA place that has some cool interiors while they serve some soul food, is how i would describe them in 1 line. We came here just for their Poothum Kaal. In the process of waiting for it, one of us wanted to try out a cheesy burger and they suggested a burger that has two different types of white sauces. One outside and one inside the patty. Oh god!! This one burger was "holy". In the sense that it had magical properties and a taste that can only be described as something, out of this world. It was so good, that we shared it among all 6 of ourselves. Also, me being a freaking photo freak, forgot what i do best: take food photography right before it's hogged. It took me hours until i realized that i forgot to take its photo. Maybe I'd need to be back again for the photo of that alien burger.
The Poothum Kaal was not the star; the gravy that they created for this dish was. The leg has more fat and that jelly like meat substance attached and less of the actual fibrous meat. But can't complain as the gravy was next level and does total justice to the dish. The price is quite reasonable as well. All in all, a beautiful devouring...
