I visited this hotel with my family for iftar during Ramadan. While we were dining, two elderly women approached us and politely asked for some food (dates and juice) so they could break their fast at magrib. One of them had mental health issues and behaved like a child. My mother kindly invited them to join us, and we ordered food for them.
However, the cashier, Abbas, reacted harshly. He scolded them, demanding to know if they had money, and told them to leave if they didn’t. Even after we assured him that we would pay for their food, his behavior remained unprofessional. Later, when one of the women asked for tissue (referring to it in her own way), the same cashier publicly humiliated them, making disrespectful remarks about them in front of other customers.
This kind of inhumane treatment is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting. A restaurant should show basic respect and compassion to all individuals, regardless of their situation. I hope the management takes action to ensure such incidents don’t...
