We chose Crave for my son’s birthday dinner, having enjoyed their dishes on previous occasions. The restaurant was a convenient and budget-friendly option close to home. However, the experience left us disappointed and resolved not to return.
Starters: Egg Pakoda & Gobi 65: Both starters, priced at 100 and 110 INR respectively, failed to impress. They tasted like average Bhajji available at street vendors for a fraction of the price. Dragon Chicken: This dish, which my son loves, was overly spicy to the point of being inedible. My son could only manage one piece before giving up.
Soups: Sweet Corn Veg Soup: This was acceptable but nothing extraordinary. Hot n Sour Veg Soup: As the name suggests, it was extremely spicy, making it difficult to enjoy. Cream of Mushroom Soup: This was the only soup that met our expectations in terms of taste and value.
Main Course: Bread Selection (Garlic Naan, Normal Naan, Roti, Parotta): These were satisfactory and worth the price. Butter Chicken Masala & Neymeen Masala: The Butter Chicken Masala was decent. However, we faced a significant issue with the Fish Masala order. Despite explicitly ordering Neymeen, we were served Prawns Masala after a long wait. The correct dish was brought only after a further 30-minute delay, by which time our other bread items had become cold and chewy. Service: The service was a major letdown. Despite confirming our order multiple times, mistakes were made, and the wait times were excessively long. The mix-up with the Fish Masala and the delayed correction disrupted our meal significantly.
Highlights: Cream of Mushroom Soup Bread items (before they got cold)
Lowlights: Overly spicy Dragon Chicken and Hot n Sour Veg Soup. Mistakes with the Fish Masala order and the resulting delays. Disappointing starters
Our experience at Crave was far from what we had hoped for a special occasion. The food quality did not meet our expectations based on previous visits. We have decided not to dine at Crave again due to this...
Read moreToday i went to this hotel with my family and ordered 2 chicken fried rice and 1 egg fried rice . Chicken pieces in chicken fried rice were very less. I felt no difference between egg fried rice and chicken fried rice. For the sake of name they added some shreded chicken on the top of rice. After the food i asked for card payment , they said they don't have card payment and they can only provide UPI or cash . I said ok fine . But when i scanned the qr code provided by them gpay showed , that account is spam . Then i asked the waiter , she said ignore that warning and continue the payment . I made the payment in front of that waiter .So after completing payment when I was about to leave that restaurant suddenly a waiter appeared and knocked the door of my car and said " Go and do the payment before leaving the restaurant" in a rude way . I said i have already completed the payment and shown the credentials to another person . Then i went to cash counter and explained this things to a boy , who was sitting over there . His reaction totally surprised me . He was not even listening what i was telling . Very poor management and total...
Read moreCrave was one of the favourite choices when we think about going for dine out from office. Yesterday, we reserved our seats 1 hour earlier and they informed that seats and food are ready. Still, after reaching there the seats were not organised and we had to wait for the food for more than half an hour. We ordered biriyani for all, so it would not be time taking process to prepare it and serve on the spot. The service was very poor and the staff seem to be so confused with understanding the order as no one could understand the regional language. Also, we got one bowl of salad for 10 biriyanis. After asking they served another bowl, with less amount. For pickle, there was no spoon to serve. The biriyani pot was having fork instead of spoon. The quality and quantity been compromised. Earlier, just after the opening of Crave, they took our team’s pic for their promotion too. At that time, the food was served neatly, the quality and quantity was pretty good. We were visiting regularly there because of the same reason. Now we have to rethink about visiting Crave again and sorry to say that we won’t...
