I'm deeply disappointed to report a stark decline in the quality of food at Kimothy Albani restaurant. The chicken, once a succulent delight, now resembles fried thermocol—lacking in both seasoning and flavor. Despite my feedback to the proprietor, my subsequent visit revealed no improvement. While the staff remains cordial and the service commendable, it's disheartening to see the culinary standards slip. Proper marination, especially for larger cuts of meat and rice, is crucial, yet it seems to be grossly neglected. I fondly recall the early days when the smaller, well-marinated chicken pieces tantalized the taste buds. Regrettably, I must withdraw my patronage if the current trend persists.

Reflecting on my previous review, I once praised the Veerappan chicken for its robust flavor and the coin parotta gravy and salad as perfect accompaniments. The introduction of live-made hot appams and the generous servings of ghee rice with chicken curry were commendable. Although I never favored their beef offerings, the overall experience was enhanced by the diverse and delectable menu, coupled with attentive service. It is the first time I'm trying the shop, I bought vizhinjam spicy chicken with parotta parcel of a combo offer. The food was yummy and cooked sufficiently. Coin parotta was thin and nice and well cooked. In addition, the customer service has to be mentioned, though I'm a girl I felt very secure to buy from here as the packing person was so genuine and made me comfortable by explaining the menu and charges. Some shop keepers might get irritated if we ask for prices mostly, When buying from some shops the service for parcels will be poor, they might be asking unnecessary things or their looks etc may scare, but here I felt happy and comfortable. The food is good as we have visited there 2-3 times earlier too. But I won’t give stars for the service… Me and my friends went there recently to have dessert. The person was there wasn’t even bothered to look if we were sitting there. He didn’t care to take any order. We called out to him twice and waiting for at least 30 mins. But he just acted busy, wandering here and there. Can’t say that he was busy with other customers as we were only there, the entire shop was empty. Won’t recommend the...
