Rema Sailam Homestay - Thiruvananthapuram, KERALA — Hotel in Kerala

My parents and I booked the property in advance only for 2 night which we happily extended to 4 nights, thanks to the sweet host, Sreejith who went out of the way to help us. Reema Sailam is truly a gem in the middle of the hustle bustle of the city, specially for guests who love to stay one with nature. The property was impeccably clean, spacious and specs of traditional Kerala architecture, we literally felt as if we landed at our live-in summer home. Everything was stocked, and we didn't feel the need to ask for anything! After witnessing comfort of my parents, we were sure to extend and experience more calming and delightful experiences at the property. The best part was the proximity to the main city, market, temples and yet giving the feel of staying at a farm house kind of location. The property has a sprawling garden with unique variety of plants and there are many seating arrangements made for the guests outside in the premises including a restful hammock. Upon request, Sreejith even obliged to give us some unique saplings to carry home. The caretaker, Sathya and the Amma were extremely warm and checked on us even after we reached our destination. These memories will always stay with us and I 100% recomend this property to tourists/ visitors as I would not look up for any other place when I plan my next trip to Trivandrum. Rema Sailam Homestay is a jewel in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram. The home is surrounded by a lush garden, a rarity and typical of old bungalows from decades ago. The rooms and house are well maintained, clean and is a trip back in time when things moved at a different pace. The decor is distinctly colonial Kerala and with a tranquil garden, creates a perfect ambience to unwind and relax. The homestay is conveniently located in town with access to local transport to get to most of the attractions. There are plenty of shops and food delivery is convenient at this location. The hosts are very helpful, will asssis with anything you need and wonderfully accomodating. You can't help but feel that the time spent in this homestay isn't enough. Definitley recommend and will surely be coming...

It was a nice stay with our cousins for couple of days. Most of the stats weren’t as shown in the pictures but this is exactly as shown in the pictures and it’s entirely wonderful experience to stay at this property. We really enjoyed the ambience and would look forward to stay here again during my next visit to Thiruvananthapuram. Mr. Srijith the owner of this property is very nice and kind man. He helped us to get VIP Darshana of Sri Anantha Padmanabhaswami. It was really great experience and I am much thankful to him. He treated us as a family member and as a best friend. I am going to suggest my entire friends and business circle about this property stay during their visit...
