Gourmet Food court — Restaurant in Kerala

During my recent visit to VPS Lakeshore Hospital, I had the opportunity to dine at the Gourmet Food Court, and overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The canteen itself is spacious and well-managed, with neatly arranged tables and clean wash areas. I appreciated the attention given to cleanliness, as it made the dining experience more enjoyable.

The food at Gourmet Food Court exceeded my expectations in terms of hygiene. The preparation area was visibly clean, and the staff followed proper hygiene practices while handling and serving the food. This attention to cleanliness was reassuring, especially considering the hospital setting.

The staff at the canteen provided good service, attending to customers promptly and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. They were courteous and helpful, ready to assist with any requests or queries.

One aspect that I found slightly disappointing was the pricing. The prices at Gourmet Food Court were on the higher side compared to other canteens or food outlets in the area. While the quality of the food and the overall experience were commendable, the pricing could be a consideration for budget-conscious visitors.

Despite the pricing aspect, I would still recommend Gourmet Food Court at VPS Lakeshore Hospital to anyone looking for a clean and well-managed canteen with delicious food. This restaurant is rated low not because of the food they serve. But only because of the service they cater to the patients and the bystanders. As this is located in a Hospital. After the testing and medicine when we go to take some food and show tell them card payment the service person directly deny's card and tells the following reasons,

1. Swipe machine not working
2. Server not connecting and many more... This is the fourth instance I was denied the food as I was not allowed to use the Card payment. This restaurant is located inside VPS Lakeshore hospital New Block First Floor. Good Ambiance and hygeine environment. Unlimited Buffet Breakfast / Veg meals offered with rs.110 / 135 respectively not worth considering the basic food items contain in the package. Minimeals with lesser cost would have been better though as people less likely to eat well when they r in hospital. Cost for some items are hefty or can say "Loot". They charged rs 120 for vegetable curry which makes 2 chappathi + veg curry cost is rs.150, where in which same stuff offered outside for rs. 50.
