I will not recommended al Reem kuzhimanthi. We searched for the best kuzhimanthi spot, and Al reem kuzhimanthi, which had very good reviews and ratings, caught our attention. When we drove 10km and reached there, nothing happened as we expected. When we entered, there were a lot of people, and when we asked the person sitting at the counter if there was a seat due to the rush, he replied that he would find one anywhere. After seeing the seat, we ordered pidich food and sat down, there was only one variety of alfam there. Then the food came, and when we ate it, none of us got the taste that we were talking about, and then I don't understand how there were so many positive reviews.... Moreover, when we asked for rice, the look on the service boy's face made us feel like we were asking for something. Servicing was a very bad experience, when we saw the attitude of the person sitting at the counter when it was time to pay the bill, we would not feel like going there. We had a very bad experience, the food was not good, there was no alfam quantity, and the servicing was very bad. From that, I understand that most of the positive reviews I see are paid. This is not just my opinion. If more importance is given to customer satisfaction, it will be a business success... Not only the heart of the eater but also the mind should be filled. Therefore, it would be very good if all these things were taken care of....... The positive reviewers maybe not eated good and tasty mandhis thats why they're all telling al reem mandhi is the best mandhi.. Compared to another famous mandhis this is a waste of money and over priced and over hyped..

Yesterday I visited this place and it was very horrible, poor management staffs , like 2 people are eating in a 6 seater table and they doesn't even care about new customers who come in , they took our order very late and our table was not even cleared soon , also they doesn't provide unlimited rice if someone in our group doesn't want rice , he ordered alfham and there were no any breads so he said he will just eat alfham and they said u won't get unlimited rice , after they served us it was the same , they just pull all the chicken and alfham in one big platter and serve even though my friend didn't eat rice we needed to pay extra just for some rice and even though it was unlimited the staffs were not even attending us after the food was served , they just ignore when we call for the rice and we shouted to get the attention and to be mentioned the rice we get as unlimited has no relationship with the first rice we got it was sticky and very gooey and we couldn't even eat it like normal rice , also there was no water provided even though we asked they just took away the empty jug and didn't came, such a horrible and poor management, I won't suggest anyone here u can have other options near if u just travel nearly 1 km so please mark my words

During my recent visit to Al Reem restaurant, I indulged in their renowned Kuzhimandhi dish, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Not only was it incredibly flavorful, but the portion size was exceptionally generous, especially considering the very reasonable price. However, while the food was undoubtedly the highlight of the experience, I couldn't help but notice that the service fell short of perfection. Although the staff were friendly, there were moments where their attentiveness could have been improved, resulting in a slightly less smooth dining experience. On the positive side, the ambiance of the restaurant was quite pleasant, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The cozy atmosphere and tasteful decor created a welcoming environment that made me feel at ease throughout my visit. In conclusion, Al Reem restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey with its flavorful and generously portioned Kuzhimandhi dish at an affordable price point. While the service could benefit from a bit of fine-tuning, the inviting ambiance contributes to making it a worthwhile dining destination for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food without breaking the bank.

Opens: About 12:30 PM (afternoon), operating through dinner hours. • Type of food: Arabian / Middle Eastern influenced — especially mandhi, kuzi mandi, al-faham mandi, chicken/beef, etc. • Ambience: Casual, with traditional restaurant seating, majlis-style seating available, decent interior though some say atmosphere is just average. Crowded during peak times. • Price: Moderate — many report cost per person around ₹200–₹400 for a mandhi meal depending on what you order.

⸻

What People Like

Here are the positives people often mention: Mandhi / Kuzhi Mandhi, Al-Faham These are the stars. The mandhi (especially chicken mandhi, kuzhi mandhi) gets praise for flavour, good quantity of rice, and overall satisfying taste. Portion sizes & value Many reviews say you get good quantity for the price. The serving sizes are generous. Service & Staff Generally friendly, attentive staff. Particularly appreciated when busy — people say even though there are lots of customers, staff try to manage well. Parking & Seating (mostly good) There is parking space and decent seating capacity. Majlis seating is appreciated for groups. However, because it’s popular, sometimes finding a parking spot or seat may take effort.

⸻

What People Dislike / Complaints

These are the recurring negatives or caveats from reviews: Service slows down during peak hours When lots of people show up (lunch / dinner rush), wait times, order delays, or attention drop slightly. Multiple people point this out. Inconsistent food quality Some diners say that certain items (rice, meat) aren’t always up to same standard. For example, chicken sometimes undercooked; rice sometimes not fully cooked or less flavourful than expected. Cleanliness / hygiene concerns (in some reviews) A few complaints about restrooms, or the state of some dining or wash areas. Also concerns in a few reports about mayonnaise or chutney being stale, etc. Parking coordination & limited seating during peak While parking is available, there are complaints about it being poorly managed. Seating during peak times is crowded. Some items overpriced or downgraded Some feel expectations are high (especially due to popularity), and that price vs execution at times...

Al-Reem Hotel offers a culinary experience like no other, with its signature dish, Kuzhimandhi, standing out as a true delight for the taste buds. The rich flavors and perfect cooking technique make it a must-try for anyone visiting the establishment.

One of the most memorable aspects of our dining experience was the exceptionally tender chicken served at Al-Reem. It's evident that the chef takes great care in preparing each dish, resulting in chicken dishes that surpass any we've had before in terms of tenderness and flavor.

The hardworking staff at Al-Reem Hotel's restaurant deserve praise for their dedication to maintaining order and ensuring guests are well taken care of despite the bustling atmosphere. Despite the constant influx of diners, the staff worked tirelessly to accommodate everyone with efficiency and professionalism.

The popularity of Al-Reem Hotel's restaurant, particularly for its renowned Kuzhimandhi, means that it's always busy. This popularity can sometimes result in a crowded dining area, making it challenging to find seating without a short wait. However, the vibrant atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience.

One area where the restaurant could improve is the layout of the washing area. Relocating it to a less congested area could help alleviate crowding and improve the flow of diners, enhancing the overall...
