A good option for North indian snacks, chaats and bengali sweets. I went in to try their vada pav. Ordered a batata vada just buy itself and a samosa. Luckily they do serve a single pc of vada and samosa. I wanted to quickly have and leave but the server insisted to take a seat in their seating area, which was nice. They have a small seating space which looks good and also a few tall tables outside for a quick bite. Both the vada and samosa came with jalebi which was a great accompaniment. The vada was decent enough, served with red sukhi chutney which was nice. The samosa was good and the jalebi was very nice too. Portion size was fine and pricing is a bit higher for the snacks I had. Ambiance - 4/5 Service - 4.5/5 Food Quality/ Presentation - 4.5/5 Taste - 3.5/5 Portion size - 4/5 Value for money - 3.5/5 Overall rating - 4/5

The place is located near kaloor-kathrikadavu road towards Kadavanthra route on the left side. Parking is biggest issue here. There is no parking space available but the staffs are managed to provide parking space for their customers. Staffs are very friendly. We have tried couple of items from their menu. Such as lessys, vadapavu, chats and many more. Punjabi lessy was my favorite and pav bhajji is nice to try. All the items they serve excellent in quality. Pricing I feel littlest over. They could have reduce the price so they can attract more customers and if the were identify spacious place then would be easy for customers. Overall I feel it's a place for one time try.

Simply put, you’ll get the best sweets in the entire city of Kochi here. Rosogolla, Paneer chop, and Paneer jukebox are must try. Located under the Kathrikadavu bridge, this is a must visit location if you need authentic Bengali sweets. They come up with new varieties often and special sweets for festivals. They also offer snacks like Singara (Bengali for Samosa), Kachori, a simply brilliant Paneer cutlet (called Paneer chop). Their milk, available only in the morning, is also very good, but a bit on the higher side of expense. Their Paneer is also a must buy if you plan to make dishes out of it. They also have branches at Palarivattom, Panampilly Nagar, and near DH Ground. Their chat street menu is available only at Panampilly Nagar.

Pathetic! Went in the afternoon of 29 Oct, on the eve of Diwali. Was shocked to see empty racks & some employees sitting around just idling. When I enquired about sweets, one of them, seemingly the Proprietor curtly said that all sweets are over!!! Seriously??? Are they running a sweet shop or a Govt Ration outlet? I mean, how can they run out of sweets on the eve of Diwali. But wait, there was more incompetence to come! I asked him - by when they would bring in fresh stock - assuming he would reply that it would arrive later in the evening. He replied unapologetically, "on 1st Nov", which was two days after Diwali! Look, I understand this is God's Own Country where businesses come only after labour rights, where work is important but hartal is 'importanter', and where the customer is not the pampered VIP as in more capitalist lands. But to have a sweet shop owner tell you on the eve of Diwali - "come two days after Diwali and we'll give you sweets" - has never happened to me!! Such a sorry experience! Bikash Babu, you guys are hopeless ...... ...

It is one of the best sweet shops in kochi. You will get chat items,vegetarian thali meals,and also get a wide variety of sweets,Lassi,malai,channa battura, and more variety.

About customer care

I feel that customer care is satisfactory .they have enough of staff strength .it is good for customer care, so there is less waiting time.

About dining,

There are very few seats in dining.most of the time ,I like to take away to home.

They have an open kitchen .so you will get a hot buttura with channa and onion cuts.

About parking facility,

The parking facility for the two-wheeler is ok. Parking just in front of the shop.and There is no parking facility for the 4 wheeler .it makes short waiting time to cross the underpass.

Favorite items

My favorite items in bikash babu are Kaju katli, Mysore pa, channa battura, and pav bhaji.

You can buy sweets in Diwali season.They have a lot of sweets varity at the time.

I had the opportunity to visit Bikas Babu Sweets, a shop located near Kaloor-Kathrikadavu road towards Kadavanthra route on the left side. The biggest issue I faced during my visit was the parking, as there was no available parking space. However, the staff managed to provide parking space for their customers, which was commendable. The staff was very friendly, and I appreciated their warm hospitality. I tried a couple of items from their menu, and although the pricing was a little high, I found the Pani Puri to be good. Overall, I recommend trying out the roadside shops for a better experience than this place. The chat tasted horrible, and I do not recommend it. Anyone who has never had chat in their life might like it. In conclusion, while Bikas Babu Sweets has some room for improvement, I appreciate the efforts of the staff in providing parking space and their friendly...
