From childhood I know about Kottiyam Bright Hotel from my family adults. But to tell the truth I never found it great. Bright is always like that. It was a nostalgia to many but most of them will find it average above average. To me it's no exception. The experience is like a drizzle in a broad daylight. It may be inconvenient but we may enjoy it. Bright is exactly that feeling. You won't find it nice but somehow u vl manage to come here again n again. Donno why! This branch is very near to Kollam KSRTC and boat jetty. You won't find better places nearby when you just alight at the bus station. That's it's greatest plus. Food is ok, not the best anyway. Meals you will get. Breakfast is available. Even tea is not that good. Ambience is ok. Neat and clean is inside. A good non-veg hotel near the bus stand. They serve south and North Indian dishes as well as tandoor. Ambience is good. Food is tasty. Appam is made only on order. They serve good tea also. But the food is overpriced and the service provided by staff is poor. Some don't even know to smile. :) There is seperate restrooms available for men and women. They are kept clean too. It will be good for travelers who get down at Kollam. But 15 minutes of rest time for KSRTC bus won't be enough to have your food from here. They take some time...

This hotel was a total disappointment ! The staff is not courteous , the AC is not working , very stuffy inside side . The food service is not good. When I asked for water second time , it was not given till the end . The wait for food was over 59 min and even after , one item was forgotten .We had a bad experience .
