Excellent service. Level of engagement with customer is very high and very proactive. Really good food. Look out for Tandoori items. Alam, who serviced our table is exceptionally good and deserves special mention. Thanks Alam!
Repeated visit with another family. Same guy served. Other staff including native team very gentle and genuine in taking care. Consistent in service as earlier. North Indian food too as good as ever. Look for their Irani chicken (tandoor) and Mutton Rogan Josh. Seafood dishes also really good though a little too chilly for kids... maybe because of local taste demands. So ask for less spice in advance.
To the owners: While Shezuan items are naturally spicy, the chilly is supposed to be much lower than Indian standards. So please take care of this.
Bottomline: Great food, Quick and Excellent service, Affordable!!
Hope a lot of Restaurants in Ernakulam learn basics from you....
Read moreMallu’s Dhaba offers one of the best North Indian menu at very reasonable rates. There’s no wonder why people flock here.
I really loved the food. It tasted so well. Their Butter Chicken is perhaps one of the best I’ve had. The Rotis are crisp. The Fried Rice soft and tasty.
We had their Garlic Naan’s, Butter Naan’s and Rotis.
A plate of Butter Chicken costs 90/-, more than sufficient for two average adults. Egg Fried Rice costs 70/- and the menu is at par with very reasonably prices. There is no compromise over quality.
I’d recommend you have their Butter Chicken - Garlic Naan combination. It is worth it.
The staff and service is good. The place is neat, if not a bit hot. There are quite a few number of tables, yet the place is bustling with crowd, hence expect a wait during peak hours. Plus, this place is open late til night.
Overall, a very satisfactory experience....
Read moreI know everybody mentioning low cost... Correct but we need to suffer the extreme heat, service is very bad. It's purely my experience. My family of 6 with child waiting their food for nearly 45 minutes. They didn't even bothered about us. Meanwhile Other families came along with us finished their food. My baby was crying like anything. Then we told atleast u give chapathi alone. They gave us 3 piece of chapathi they made long time before not at all fresh. Finally we left from the dhaba by paying money for 1 chapathi. The most disgusting thing is that they don't even felt sorry for this. Treated us like a beggars. If they r reading this comment surely they will remember us. Am not blaming. Please appoint more waiters their. Kids don't know how to control their hunger. Another families should not suffer...
