Visited MRA Restaurant in Vadakara. The food was satisfactory, especially enjoyed the masala dosa and vellayappam. Convenient parking available right in front of the restaurant. Opens at 8 AM, making it an early option. The restroom facilities are decent, making it a recommended stop for travelers on the Kannur-Kozhikode routeBoth vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are great. Chicken tawa fry, mandi rice, and their salads are a must-try. Also, all the items are priced reasonably. There are plenty of tasty snacks available in their bakery section. One of the best restaurants in Vadakara The staff is very welcoming and has great behaviour towards the customers............ The food quality was very poor. We bought egg fried rice which did not taste fresh. The chicken biriyani also did not taste good. The ambience was poor even inside the AC hall. The walls were poorly maintained. I wouldn't recommend the place.I recently had the opportunity to dine at MRA Bakery & Restaurant, and I was very impressed with the food and service. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine, as well as a variety of bakery items. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive.MRA Bakery in Vadakara is a nice spot for Indian and Arabic food. They offer a wide range of dishes and baked goods. You can even order cakes for special occasions. Prices are a bit high. Parking can be tricky. It's a must-visit for Arabic cuisine lovers, with a variety of dishes like tandoori and grills. Read moreDuring the old days ( pre Corona times) the MRA was such a good place for Arab and Indian cuisines. Their nadan ( local ) dishes those days was always worth a shot and used to taste very authentic. They used to keep close to their roots in terms of taste, spices used and flavours. Now that is slowly but surely losing sheen !!!!! The management which use to pride itself for original quality food is now clearly want to make a quick buck and control of things in the restaurant is literally absent. The pricing is as expensive as any big city restaurant .
The restaurant is clearly bad now. The interiors are bad and very dirty. If they are pricing themselves so high then they better give the customers good quality food. The wash are and toilets are a mess. I don't think these are approved by families who come here to have a good time. The floors are very dirty too. This was not how this place was just 5 years back !!!!
The place is always crowded. This clearly reflects it's popularity with the local population. The pricing is high. The Bakery items is worth trying as the quality is one of the best in Vatakara town. Arabian food seems to be doing extremely well due to the familiarity of their touch with the middle East. The quantity of the food is close to what one gets in the gulf but not exactly there. The peak time can get really crowded so watch your timing of visit there.
Don't go there with high hopes on quality.and service. Certain food like biriyani and...
