NMR Uptown: A Delightful Vegetarian Dining Experience
NMR Uptown is a restaurant that truly stands out from the crowd. From its inviting ambience to its courteous staff, this place offers a delightful dining experience for all visitors. Located in the heart of the city, NMR Uptown caters to the growing demand for high-quality vegetarian cuisine.
The ambience at NMR Uptown is simply fantastic. As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by an elegant and modern interior design that exudes warmth and sophistication. The restaurant's tasteful decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating arrangements create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere for patrons. Whether you're on a romantic date or a casual outing with friends, NMR Uptown provides the perfect setting.
The staff at NMR Uptown deserves a special mention for their outstanding service. They are attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist you with any request. From the moment you enter the restaurant until the time you leave, the staff ensures that you have a memorable dining experience. Their knowledge about the menu and their willingness to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions make the overall experience even more enjoyable.
When it comes to the food, NMR Uptown truly excels. The menu is carefully curated, with a wide range of vegetarian options to choose from. The paneer tikka and Manchurian dishes are especially noteworthy. The paneer tikka is cooked to perfection, with succulent pieces of cottage cheese marinated in a flavorful blend of spices. The Manchurian is equally delightful, with its crispy texture and a tantalizing mix of sweet and tangy flavors.
However, one minor drawback of NMR Uptown is the absence of regular drinking water. The restaurant only offers packaged drinking water for sale, which can be inconvenient for customers who prefer tap water or want to reduce their plastic waste. It would be beneficial if the establishment could provide complementary regular drinking water along with hot nannari water options to enhance the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, NMR Uptown is a remarkable restaurant that offers a fantastic dining experience. With its great ambience, courteous staff, and delectable vegetarian dishes, it is a haven for food lovers. Although the lack of regular drinking water is a slight inconvenience, it should not overshadow the overall excellence of NMR Uptown. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply looking to savor some delicious meat-free cuisine, this restaurant is definitely...
Read moreWe decided to host a birthday party at this restaurant and called them two hours in advance to reserve seats for 12:30 PM. I made it clear that this was a birthday party, and they assured us it would be fine. Little did we know we were about to have one of the worst dining experiences of our lives.
We arrived at 12 PM, planning to use two adjacent tablesâone for me and my mother, and another for my sister and her four friends. By 12:30 PM, my sisterâs friends were a bit late, but we were already seated, having ordered black tea. At exactly 12:30, the ownerâdressed in a white shirt and munduârudely approached us and told us to wait outside until everyone arrived. Imagine being asked to leave while youâre mid-drink, just because a few guests are running late. This was humiliating, and it felt like we were being thrown out for no valid reason.
It didnât end there. By 12:35, the table reserved for my sisterâs friends was given away to another group, even though we were literally sitting right next to it. When her friends arrived two minutes later, we were forced to sit at another table far away from each other, ruining the entire point of having a group celebration.
Once we were finally settled by 12:45 and had placed our orders, the owner started harassing us repeatedly. He kept coming over to both tables, asking if we had ordered, even though the food was already on the table. While we were cutting the birthday cake, he had the audacity to approach us yet again and ask if we had placed any more orders. This happened multiple times and was nothing short of obnoxious. His constant interruptions made it impossible for us to enjoy the occasion.
As if that wasnât enough, by 2:15 PM, the owner returned and outright told us to leave, claiming we had been there âtoo long.â Let me remind you, we had been there for a little over two hours, and the bill came to around 3500, not including the tip. Despite spending a significant amount, we were treated like freeloaders and made to feel like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, this behavior was appalling. The ownerâs greed and lack of basic hospitality ruined what should have been a happy celebration.
This place is a joke. The owner clearly only cares about squeezing money out of customers, with zero regard for service or decency. If youâre planning a special occasion, avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be embarrassed and disrespected. We will never set foot in this awful...
Read moreAbsolutely delighted by the restaurant's stunning interiors and ambiance. The carefully curated decor created an atmosphere that was both elegant and cozy. From the soft lighting to the choice of furniture, every detail seemed to contribute to the overall charm. It was a truly immersive dining experience that complemented the exquisite cuisine perfectly. The entrance in open in nature with separate juice, grill and billing sections. They also has good informal seating in the informal area along with several planters in front of the restaurant . The interiors are grand and aesthetically very pleasing with warm lighting and colour temperature all over. There are small pockets of cool lights that diffuse the too warm aesthetics. There is a internal courtyard or a green space which houses the ducts and piping for thĂ© services. The floor has a level difference of around 45 cm which also adds playfulness to the floor rather than being a simple floor. The ceilings are good looking and the hanging lights are beautiful too. All though i would love to see some light or outdoor views of the building as there was no visible windows for the outside. It was the only negative thing that i could find in the building as everything else was great. I also feel like the wash could be a little more free as compared to the lavish interiors the toilet is very cluttered. The furnitureâs were very good probably custom designed, very comfortable. There are multiple seating options from 2 sweaters to 10 seaters probably. As the floor is in matte finish the custom design chair works perfectly in eliminating squeaky and irritating noise as we get out of the seats. The food is very good and hence it could be subjective, the pricing doesnât bother us much as the ambiance justifies the billing. For a roughy estimate a bill for the 4 of yours was a little more than Rs 1100. The service along with the waiter and cleaning staff was also one of the best. Overall itâs a great restaurant with nice ambiance and food, probably the best in town. The architects from alchemy has done a wonderful job, which would definitely open new restaurant and food culture...
