Having been referred by a friend to visit this Restaurant on our way back to Nagercoil all that we experienced was Racism and discrimination. Ground floor was fully occupied and we had to head to Roof Top. Kitchen and Dining must have been separated with an artificial wall. Cooking process chokes kids. Roof Top lacks AC and Kitchen Heat spoils ambience . Kitchen was too chaotic and highly unhygienic. I cud see flies sitting on dishes, disgusting. Staffs are highly impolite and unfriendly. Belonging to a Service Industry none seem to know what Service is. We ordered Bamboo Biriyani and after sometime we were told Bamboo Biriyani has been exhausted. But The same was offered to local guests who came after us. When we asked about it We were told that preference was for local people which was a grave shock. We ordered for 2 Pineapple juice and 1 sweet lime juice. One of the glasses that served Pineapple juice had its rim broken and we asked for a replacement . To my shock the same juice was transferred to another Glass. After protesting vehemently We were offered a fresh one but to our shock We were offered Sweet Lime instead of Pineapple which was highly bitter in taste. We presumed that rotten sweet lime had been used as we kept complaining. Worst Experience.
Had been in Kerala for a surgery for 3 days. Dined at various Restaurants and Hotels But Nowhere did we were humiliated. Kerala was too good and extremely kind to us But This Restaurant is an exception. More than Food Service and courtesy matters. Good crowd might throng initially but down the line Service Matters. Staffs need to trained and the management as a whole have to shift their focus to Serving Food to their Guests rather than serving food to the crowd.
Last but not the least, let these guys Visit Azad Hotel near Medical College and Hotel Anantha ram near Chakravarthi Eye Care if at all they want to Survive in the Industry.

Read moreAnother restaurant which sells the so called "naadan" items for fancy prices - similar to pretentious "thattukadas" in five star hotels. This is a normal restaurant but with a lot of hanging bulbs and wall writings - the effort they did for the "ambience".
The staff will be staring at you all the time.
"Irachiputtu" is priced at 120 (which is basically 'oru kutti puttu' and 2-3 small beef pieces stuffed in between) and black tea (not any sulaimani or special tea) for 15 rs - these prices can be considered normal if the quality was good. Even the staff seems not well trained - if you ask whether an item is available, they would say no even without checking with the kitchen dept. Two times (yes, I've been there two times!), I had to point out the items which I was told not available were there in the next table, and they checked again and served it.
I'm okay with the ridiculous pricing for the comfortability but it fails there.
There are many food joints nearby which are far more better than here.
They are good at using the EAT group for marketing though.
If you are new in the city and do not know where to eat "naadan" items at reasonable prices, then this will...
