Rebbi’s House Of Barbecue — Restaurant in Kerala

I ordered the full pound of brisket and a full smoked BBQ chicken from Rebbi’s House of Barbecue and it was an incredible experience. The food arrived hot, fresh and very well packed with no leaks or mess. The brisket was the highlight, juicy, smoky, tender and packed with flavor. The fat just melted in my mouth and the meat was cooked to perfection. It was so good that it was gone within 10 minutes of opening the box. The chicken was equally delicious with a deep smoky flavor that really stood out.

I had also been wanting to try the pulled pork but it was not available when I placed my order. I mentioned this to Joel and he was kind enough to send me a small portion as a complimentary surprise. That thoughtful gesture made the whole experience even more special and really showed the care they put into customer service.

The brisket was spot on. I’m American, and I’ve lived in Texas and Southwest for most of my life. The added BBQ sauce on the side was too vinegary to be American, but I liked it and it was something new for me. The light amount of sauce on the brisket itself, was perfect.

There is a great place in Bangalore where you can get quality brisket like this called “Mackenna’s Smoked BBQ,” delivered, for 650INR that comes with veggies and the side sauce is better, so Rebbi’s is more expensive.

However, Rebbi’s meat quality was better because it mixed quality protein and a small amount of fat into the whole product, which gives it a juicer flavor and texture. The is no wrong way to make meat like a brisket, but I found Rebbi’s to be more to my liking, abeit more expensive, too.

I had ordered the half pound portion of beef brisket,for Rs 900,and i feel the price is actually justifiable given it takes a lot of time and expertise to prepare,its good quality and taste.

The cut was good,the meat was soft not too chewy and not hard just the right amount.The outer circumference portion was extra smoked and somewhat crisp and the inner part was just juicy with the appropriate amount of fat.Brisket was a good experience for me and i thank joels for making my first try good.

The only problem was delivery where i had to pay swiggy genie 150 rs,while if they had their own delivery it would have cost me less,but i guess that option may not have been practical for them,but i would definitely suggest their own delivery option.

But overall it was a great experience and i would definitely reccomend it.
