Problem 01 - The Pandhal restaurant on the ground floor is a huge source of nuisance to the guests. The restaurant plays loud music, anytime, and the vibration from the subwoofer reaches the 3rd floor, thereby disturbing the peace and quiet in the room! The guest cannot sleep or rest due to this issue!
Problem 02 - the hotel let's out the terrace restaurant on floor 5 for events parties etc, where loud music is played - which again is a source of disturbance for the rooms downstairs! Vibration from the speakers / subwoofers are felt inside the rooms!
Problem 03 - constant sounds and vibration due to moving of furniture on the 4th floor which again is very disturbing for anyone staying on the 3rd floor!
It's surprising that the hotel management is not taking these problems seriously!
Stayed in room number 303, 3rd floor from the 17th to the 24th of October 2022. The hotel is good, staff are down to earth, helpful and caring. Room is comfortable. It is clean. There is a roof top restaurant on the 5th floor where only breakfast is served. No provision for lunch and dinner. Need to order either from swiggy or from zomato.
The hotel does not provide laundry services. The guest can use the washing machines, dryer and irons for washing and pressing the clothes as and when required.
One drawback - There is a restaurant on the ground floor of this hotel which plays loud music starting in the afternoon, and the vibration emanating from the subwoofer can be felt till the 3rd floor! This goes on well into the night making it difficult to concentrate on work, or to rest or to sleep.
I got the volume reduced by informing the GM about this on the 21st. But at times the vibration could still be felt in the room

Niko Hotels has got a very service orientated and friendly team serving the guests. The whole team of Niko Hotels works very hard to meet their guests expectations and keeps the hotel very clean and well maintained. I have found the Manager and his Team very helpful and kind. Manager Mr Pradeep was extremely cautious and always guided his staff to ensure guest needs. We have never felt shortage of service, whether its exchanging money or arranging transportation, Manager Pradeep and his team was always there to help us. We all felt like home there. Hotel provides laundry facilities which can be used by the guests for free at their convenience. It is safe for kids to come out and enjoy and play outside the hotel. There's a famous award winning diner in the ground floor "Curry Tree" next to the hotel which provides superb food n excellent service enjoyed by many people. Also there's a Nilgiris supermarket next to the hotel. Niko Hotel has got very good wifi service and superb room service. Morning breakfast buffet is arranged at the terrace with many varieties to enjoy. Me and my family would love to stay there again. I stayed at Niko Hotel from 12th September 2025 to 13th September 2025, and the experience was far beyond my expectations.
From the very beginning, I was impressed. For my booking, I had some specific requirements—early check-in at 7 AM (since I was traveling from Payyannur to attend a function at Ernakulam), late check-out aligned with my train at 9:35 AM the next day, and two breakfasts included. To my surprise, the hotel agreed to all these requests without hesitation and well within my budget.
I am extremely thankful and deeply impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of Mr. Vishal (Front Office), who treated me more like a close relative than just a guest. His support made my stay smooth and comfortable.
I must also highlight the hotel’s hospitality and food. One thing that truly stood out was their thoughtful approach to avoiding food wastage—using small jam and butter sachets, along with instant tea lovingly prepared by Renuka Chechi, who cared for guests as if they were her own family. Her warmth and service touched my heart.
Based on this experience, I will happily recommend Niko Hotel to my friends and relatives. I sincerely request the hotel management to consider offering a token of appreciation to Mr. Vishal and Renuka Chechi, whose dedication truly enhances the reputation of this hotel.
