BEWARE: HIDDEN BEEF IN CHICKEN BIRYANI – SHOCKING EXPERIENCE!

We had a very disturbing and unacceptable experience at this hotel today. We ordered chicken biryani, but to our shock, it contained both chicken and beef pieces. Beef was concealed below the chicken and rice. This is absolutely inexcusable, especially since we are Hindus and consuming beef is strictly against our beliefs.

When we brought this to their attention, the staff did not offer any explanation, apology, or correction on the bill. It felt like they were trying to hide their mistake—or worse, they did it intentionally, knowing our dietary and religious sentiments.

Such negligence and disregard for customers’ faith and trust is deeply hurtful and unacceptable. I strongly urge others to be cautious when dining here, especially if you have religious or dietary restrictions. This place has lost our trust completely.

Beware of this place.. don’t visit this place.. Forgot to take beef pieces photo in the Biryani.. They are spoiling religious intentionally… This is their main agenda

Before you reply to any comment.. check with your staff and reply back.. What had happen we have highlighted. Check with your staff internally and comment us in this form.

Without checking your staff you are replying means how much hide and seek your team is playing. I have the bill amount and they have not taken amount when we raised our voice about this and immediately they took biryani inside the kitchen. How ridiculous you are and your mentality and they were try to escape from the situation.

For more clarity check with your staff member Biju. He will explain you everything.. Without internal check team is responding in this forum. So pathetic team and hotel.

I would like to clarify a few important points.

This is about a serious breach of trust and food safety, especially concerning religious dietary restrictions. Labeling our concern as “communal” is not only misleading but an attempt to divert from the core issue, which is the presence of beef in a dish we clearly ordered as chicken biryani. Our objection was to the mishandling and lack of transparency—nothing more.

We did immediately raise the issue with your staff, including Biju. Instead of accountability or a proper apology, the biryani was taken away abruptly, the person at the billing counter disappeared after viewing the CCTV, and we were left confused. We have shared our card to swipe the bill after raising our voice they have not swiped as advised by Biju, likely because you realized the mistake but didn’t want to officially acknowledge it.

As customers, we expect honesty, respect, and sensitivity. The staff's unprofessional behavior and laughter during a serious conversation only added to our distress.

We are not here to harm any business or spread hate. But businesses, especially those in the food and hospitality sector, have a responsibility to be transparent and respectful of people's beliefs and safety. Our feedback comes from a place of seeking accountability and preventing such incidents from happening to others.

We hope your management seriously investigates this internally rather than silencing valid concerns by labeling them as “communal” or “hateful.” We would still appreciate an open and respectful resolution, including a review of the CCTV footage, and a clear explanation of how...

We were attracted to this restaurant by the new look appearance of the restaurant however when we researched this food outlet on Google, we were not impressed by the Google rating of 3.5. However, we decided to try our luck here and we were so pleasantly surprised by the warmth in the greeting of the youngsters at the entrance which set the mood for our dinner evening. What followed, was a surprisingly delicious culinary experience that was crafted to delight our taste buds. The Cheriyulli Chicken was a uniquely delightful and tasty choice and so was the Gobi Manchurian. In fact, the Gobi Manchurian was quite different from the normally similar dishes that we experience at most restaurants that have corrupted and contaminated this dish with Chinese soy sauces. We also had Biryani rice, Kerala Porotta and Chappathi to accompany these dishes with Dal Fry and Salad and all this contributed to an overall deeply satisfying yet delicious culinary experience. What took our breath away was the most economical billing for the quality and quantity of our orders served here. The washrooms were spotlessly squeaky clean and free from the normally unpleasant odours of public restrooms. The restaurant decor was tastefully done with sufficient light where it mattered most. The seating was also well spaced out to guarantee privacy and at the same time not giving a feeling of isolation from the rest of the area. We were delighted that we made the right decision to visit Royal Food Restaurant and will certainly visit again, another time. Thank you for delighting us with your culinary experience and for the hygienic conditions offered to go with great food. Best wishes...

A Deceptive Experience

I recently visited the restaurant with high hopes, drawn in by its impressive external view. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met.

External View: 4/5 The restaurant’s exterior was indeed impressive. The elegant design, ample parking, and inviting entrance created a positive first impression. I was excited to explore what awaited inside.

Menu and Pricing: 2/5 The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of dishes. However, my enthusiasm waned when I saw the prices. They were significantly higher than expected. Still, I decided to give it a chance, assuming that the quality of the food would justify the cost.

Food Disappointment: 1/5 My party of three ordered butter naan and chicken Chettinad. The anticipation grew as we waited for our meals. Unfortunately, the taste was a letdown. The butter naan lacked the softness and flavor we anticipated, and the chicken Chettinad was just an instant mix of previously prepared gravy and bland cooked chicken. The chicken was not even well cooked and it tasted as if it was waiting since morning.

Recommendation and Revisit: 1/5 Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others. Despite the appealing external view and extensive menu, the disappointing taste and high prices overshadowed any positives. I won’t be revisiting this...

Worst Experience Ever – Order on 01 September 2025 I am absolutely furious about my recent order. On 01-September-2025, I ordered 5 brownies, and what I received was downright disgusting – old, stale stock. Before ordering, I specifically asked if the brownies were fresh, and they confidently assured me they were. But when I opened them, I found fungus growing on them! I’ve attached photos as proof. What shocked me even more is when I reported this over the phone. Instead of apologizing, they arrogantly told me “you don’t know the brownie taste, we are making it here.” This is outrageous. Selling fungus-infected brownies and then insulting a customer’s intelligence is shameful. This is not just poor service – it is unhygienic, unsafe, and an absolute scam.

Royal Food restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. - **Ambience**: The ambience is just okay, nothing particularly standout. - **Service**: The service is good and the staff are attentive. - **Food**: The taste of the food is average overall. - **Chicken Lollipops**: These are good and flavorful. - **Dragon Chicken**: Also good and worth trying. - **Parota**: Just okay, nothing special. - **Mandi Chicken Biryani**: Again, it's just okay. - **Chicken 65**: Surprisingly, it tasted more like chicken kebab, which was unexpected but still decent. -**Price**: All the dishes are highly priced . Additionally, the restaurant provides ample car parking, which is convenient. Milkshakes are good . Overall, it's a decent place to dine with some hits and misses.
