Had a quick bites... Ordered Veg thali which had this amazing curry leaves chutney 😍🤤🤤🤤 it was 😋 yummy Calamari rings r our all time favourite so it was great 😃 Chicken kabab tried for first time and it was so succulent and melting in mouth.. Enjoyed all along with great service 😁

Revisited on Vishu 🌼🌼 April 2025 Food was excellent 👌 👌 👌 Fish was fresh and gravy was spot on, on spiciness & flavour. Appam is our favourite, soft like cloud pillow 😃 Kundal (Kalamari) was excellent 👌 👌 👌 👌 Service was good 💯 No complaints 🌼🌼🌼🌼 Visited second time on 16th December 2024- Went for lunch and we specifically asked for small fish fry - Got a huge peice of vatta fry. Costed 700/- the management should include small fish fry too during lunch time. It's inconvenient not to have that option. In fish curry meals there's no fish fry - being a foodie it was a total dissatisfaction. Staff should be more aware to confirm with customer before placing the order.. Very annoying 😞

We went on an impulse for dinner 🍽️😁 Wasn't disappointed 😊 Service 💕 Amazing service, our server lady named Tasni (hope I got the name roght) was our server for the night. Shexwas extremely delightful in accomodating our request and suggesting us accordingly. Throughout our dinner she was attentive to our needs. Appam 💓 was soft almost like cloud (suggestions- please place a banana leaf in between the appams as they were stuck together a bit difficult to serve among ourselves) Fish Varthaarcha 🐟 - The red chilli curry was amazing 🤩 fish was fresh and soft. Though a bit spicy 🔥 it was awesome 🤤🤤🤤 Vatta Tawa fry - Large one piece of fish 🐟, again amazing taste and masala was good. Kashmiri Paneer tikka 🥰- was blown away by the taste. Paneer wassoft and the marination was amazing 💓 we ended up reordering. Chicken 65 - was good though a bit more crunching would have tasted good. We also got a chicken biryani parcel and it was tasty as well 😍 Overall Food was delicious 😋 and fresh with proper quantity 💯 Dinning area is huge and group seating is available. Guys, I recently stumbled upon a real gem in Kalamassery area, near HMT Junction called Rose and Mango, and I'm already planning my next visit! If you're craving authentic Kerala flavors but also fancy a cool, relaxed atmosphere, this is your spot.

First off, the ambiance is just chef's kiss. It's so calm and the interior is absolutely beautiful – a perfect place to unwind after a long day. And get this – it has pub vibes! Imagine enjoying delicious Indian food in a setting that's both traditional and trendy.

Now, let's talk about the food! The price range is super reasonable, Nonveg Thali meal is 280 and veg thali is 180Rs. It cost us around ₹300 to ₹400 per person with a special dish and was totally worth it. Non veg thali has Fish curry, chicken curry, beef cocunut fry, Chemmeen curry, Puliserry, Sambar, Thoran, Achar and Gulab Jamun. I tried their signature dishes, and oh my goodness! The Chicken Peralan was bursting with flavor, and the Rose Petal Pudding? Seriously, it's like a party in your mouth – sweet, fragrant, and utterly divine. You need be there before 2.30, the biriyani was sold out and Brown rice was also finished. Still it's a worthy one. Just try the rose petal pudding after tasting a bit of thali meal pickle. It just reset your taste buds.

The Arabic food is not upto the mark, I think they dont have a veteran Arabic chef. The Alfaham was not at all good and felt like a waste of money.

The fresh juice rates are bit high compared to the quality. I do reccomend only meals and kerala dishes from here.

The service was just ok. Everyone seems busy and never smiles. Only that security guard is the smiling face in that place. The place is spacious, super hygienic, and even the washrooms were sparkling clean (you know that's a big deal!).

Rose and Mango truly offers the best of both worlds: authentic Kerala taste with a modern, pub-like atmosphere. Rose and Mango is a relatively new restaurant. The ambience is great. Lots of seating. Lots of light and it feels very spacious and open. These days where people just go with looks and have seating with no back support at all Rose and Mango has gone for comfort and the seats provide proper back support and are very comfortable. There is lot of carvings in the walls etc. The wash room/bathrooms were one of the biggest I have seen and very spacious. However please keep some sign boards. I noticed at least 3-4 people getting confused and going towards the kitchen door instead of bathroom.

Now on to the food. We ordered Non Veg Thali (fish curry meals), Ghee Rice, Chicken 65, Chicken Peralan and Passion Fruit Mojito. Non Veg Thali was the outright winner it had two different fish curries, Kakka fry, Fish pickle and Chemmeen chammanthi. It was worth the money. Ghee Rice and Chicken 65 were decent. I didn't like Chicken Peralan though my wife liked it. It was more of a chicken roast, it was sweet due to the caramelised onions and way too much oil. Oil is generally higher in all dishes.

Service could be improved though we ordered Mojito in the start itself it never arrived. Half way through our lunch we asked for it and only when we told them to cancel if it was not ready we got it by that time we finished our lunch. Also no one came to ask if we needed anything else or offered water a second time etc. If these things are taken care of this would be a successful restaurant.
