This restaurant takes a prime location nearby Palayam & Museum junction at Trivandrum. Located in and around the city region; with just 4km away from the central railway station, this restaurant puts on a myriad of Arabian cuisines for its most welcomed customers from the city; even at standard rates, not much above par to other restaurants.
The restaurant has a decent, complacent parking space in front, mostly fitting two-wheelers & an ample number of cars/other four-wheelers. The restaurant hosts a juice corner (Juice Box, as they name it) up in the front; serving wide variety of milkshakes, fresh juices & refreshment drinks. The dining facility is quite ample for their customers; non air-conditioned dining at the ground stairs & well- lit, air-conditioned dining upstairs.
Salwa Dine restaurant serves most of the mouth-watering, accustomed Keralite-style cuisines at a sub-par cost compared to its counterparts. Serving start from a wide array of soups; reasonably being Cream of Tomato/Chicken, Hot & Sour Vegetable/Chicken, Sweet corn Chicken & much more. Arabian, Chinese & traditional cuisines are available. Arabian varies from the orthodox Salwa Shawai, Al-Faham, Tandoori, Tikka & Kebab series. Full platter costs a bit reasonable compared to other restaurants of similar ambience. The restaurant too houses traditional cuisines without fail; including Beef roast, Beef chilly/fry, Beef pepper/garlic/ginger.
Accompaniments winning the likes of the customers mainly encompass Naadan Porotta/Chappathi/even Pathiri; then Naan(butter/plain), Roti, Kubbus & others. One thing I PERSONALLY DISLIKE is the EXCLUSION OF ROMALI ROTI in the menu, which is one sort of favourite for customers since long. Porotta is quite large & appetising for its price. Roti/Naan (butter/plain) own appreciable quality & taste.
Serving size of pieces for Al-Faham/Salwa Shawai varies for half a platter; most often encountered in most restaurants, with Salwa Dine being no longer an exception. It’s not quite seen with Tandoori/Tikka/Kebab series. Dining perfect for hang outs/partying/family get-together. Food quality matches well with their rival restaurants from the city; more positively, at a...
Read moreThis is one restaurant that I frequent. The food is great and it's close to my office. I have been dining there for year's. Entertain my guests for a quick meal.
The food was always good and it still is yo this day. Very friendly staff. They listen and execute, if you need personal tweaks in your food, which is quite nice. It gives you a sense of belonging and the guests that you entertain feel good.
They have recently upped their own game by opening up a fancy dining area upstairs. Well planned out, spacious, good lighting and an addendum of Chef's not to forget their quick service.
The management makes you feel warm and welcome. Always suggesting new additions in the menu. These people keep raising their standards again and again. It's nice to see the place buzzing due to their attitude to please the customer and making them visit again and again.
As said, parking is a problem in the entire Vellayambalam stretch. But then, if you have found a slot, you can proceed to have a great meal.
A must visit place in Vellayambalam. Would recommend them to...
Read moreThis was one of our go to restaurants in my young age and still I buy food from salwa dine and the taste is same. Delivery is fast and the service is also fine. I usually order shawai or fried rice or tantoori and the taste is good. Parking is a bit of a problem on that area if you are coming in car because it can get very busy and also bus stop is near buy and it’s became a prime location. The place is always busy. There biriyani is also good . Chicken and mutton is good. You can order a lot of variety dishes like Indian dish and Chinese dishes and it taste good. Even though they had lot of issues now the place is good and fast service. The staffs are attentive too. They do home delivery and take away also . So if you are near by living you can order online or through phone. They are also open very late night which is good if you want to order shawai at night. Better you come in bike or scooter as it is sometimes very hard to get parking in that area . But sometime you can get also at...
