Kept searching for a vegetarian restaurant in Muvattupuzha and found this one by accident. The restaurant ambience was nice and the staff were well-mannered. Aside from that, they have to improve in multiple areas.
Parking. The only 2 spots for a mid-sized car available in front of the restaurant is too steep to park or egress.
Meagre quantity. We were famished and bought 'Veg. biriyani' which is priced as same as a 'Thali meal' for ₹80. Hard to believe, when we got it, it could just fill 2 small tea glasses that they serve there. It is served along with a small cup of 'Raita' and pickle. More like a 6-year-old kid's meal.
Whereas, the 'Thali meal' they serve has copious amount of rice not to mention the refill along with a variety of vegetables curries with pappad and a small banana. The 'Veg. biriyani' did not have any vegetables in it aside from occasional slices of beans.
I believe just because our order had the term 'Biriyani' in it, we were taken for a ride. Really disappointed.
After finishing our food instantly due to lack of quantity rather than quality, on deciding to pay, they did not have a POS machine for swiping the card. We travel and only carry card and cash for emergencies. Although they had digital wallet services, rarely mobile connections get a good reception for internet. Read moreThe following comments are made out sarcasm!!! The vibe and welcoming by staff outstanding 🤣🤣 Two gentlemen wr posted as waitresses are done everything for us to feel that they value our business 🤣🤣 Very pleased with the quality of the meal and waiting time, the kitchen staff was excellent 🔥🤣🤣 I think the stewards /suppliers has some strong vengeance against their employer so that they are trying to get him/her out of business We saw the quality of customer service while we ate at the place, one customer shouted out some very strong dissatisfied comments and walked out. Another customer asked for curd and the short fellow supplier got a whole packet of curd and put it on the table and walked away then the customer chase him to bring out some empty bowls and every time he was making a face showing dissatisfaction. Vist again - NO WAY Recommend someone -...
Read moreVisited Sree Akshayam for breakfast after seeing the rave reviews. To be honest it exceeds my expectations. We tried their ghee masala roast , podi roast and vadas. All were nice especially the dosas. It taste so nice and felt the best compared to most of the vegetarian options in town and nearby. It’s a small hotel with limited seating. Ambience is ok not great as such. Rest rooms were neat and clean. Restaurant was neat and tidy. Only issue I felt is stewards were not knowledgeable about the menu. They can’t answer most of our questions about the dishes. Overall a nice experience. They have some parking in front the restaurant. But it’s possible to find parking during the rush hours as well.
Verdict:
Ambience: ** Accessibility: * Food : * 👍🏾 Cleanliness:...
