We went to Al Baiq for dinner, but given the vibe of the place and the staff, decided against dining there and opted for a take-away. The restaurant is fine with basic furniture for dining. However, the staff at the counter seemed a little disinterested. We asked a few questions about the quantity of food to which their response was not welcoming. Hence, we decided to get a full Al Fahan Chicken as takeaway. Once we placed the order, it took them almost 50 minutes to get food ready. And even after the food arrived at the counter, they failed to inform us. Note that we had enquired at least 3 times by then if the food is going to take much longer as we had a kid along with us. Everytime, the response was "just 5 more minutes". We were also asked to not stand there as we wait. Finally, coming to the taste of the food, it was pretty average. Horrible experience....worst food...All in my family good food poisoned and hospitalised...They serve rotten food...Many who had food from there the same day fell sick and got hospitalised...Please avoid this place Answers to the Owner’s responses : May be the below reasons for your Food Poison: • This is not the first time we are visiting hill stations and didn’t have any digestion problems. • we didn’t eat any snack from any other place..in fact when we went to hospital first question from doctor was if we ate at Al Baiq because there were many before us who were poisoned. • Regarding old reviews…so you agree there are people who went through the same pblms before us and reviewed here..so all are having phsycological issues…😂 • Hope you remember we were staying in your villa and refunded our money to not create problems for you.
