Worst experience with the hotel: Suggested by hotel boy for veg meals been there for lunch too busy it seems. So waited for about 20mins out side and got a place for 2 of us. After 10minz server came to our table to take order and we ordered meals that is Rs.140/- (meals alone) then the problem starts the server asked me for side dish order which is only non veg. During travel time I will not eat non veg so just add 2 omlette that's enough I said. The server said it is compulsory to order a side dish (min Rs. 180/- for chicken 65 five pieces)for meals or else he told me to get briyani that Rs.280/- quantity is too less. I got upset and asked how can you put rules on what I should eat(non veg compulsory) there is no sign that says we don't serve veg meals alone. And then the hero entered between our convo (owner of that shop). He said sir ithu non-veg hotel nenga meals vanguna (meals includes 2 veg side dish) non- veg side dish compulsory ah vangiyae aganum. After he used that word compulsory I got angry and asked who the hell are you peoples first of all If you are not going to serve the meals separately then why the hell you added in you menu card says Meals -Rs.140/-. Rs.140 for meals is a huge amount for that hotel(itz not even a 3star hotel) and who are you to tell me what I should eat. I'm a customer you should raise a bill for what I have ordered. Read moreThis was, without a doubt, the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel, primarily due to the RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL behavior of the cashier and the serving staff. Throughout my travels across India, I have never encountered such disgraceful conduct at any restaurant. Right from the beginning, the cashier was unnecessarily aggressive, even reprimanding us for simply cleaning the banana leaf with a tissue, and raising his voice without any justification. The server also shouted at us multiple times while we were placing our order, creating an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere.
The situation worsened during the payment process. Despite several attempts, the recipient’s G-Pay system failed to work. When I pointed out the issue, the cashier responded with shocking hostility, yelling aggressively and even going so far as to raise his hand as if to strike me, all in full view of my family, including my children. His behavior was outrageously rude and resembled that of a street thug. My children were visibly shaken by the incident. In the end, I had no choice but to pay the bill using the emergency cash I had in my wallet.

My whole family faced health issues after eating here, food safety officers need to inspect the hotel regularly and please take action. Kodaikanal tourism board need to take action. Most of the people from other states unknowingly going there. These kind of hotel are spoiling the name of tamilnadu. Not worth for money. Prices are too high and food quality and serving is bad. If we complain anything Only owner of the hotel is used to console us whenever serving people do mistakes. But no use of it. They used to suggest food items.
