**Don’t spoil your Kodaikanal trip by going to this restaurant *
I went to dinner with family in “AR Rahman Family Restaurant” Kodaikanal. I ordered grill chicken and naan. Food quality was not good and it was half cooked. When we informed them to change it, they didn’t responded and even gave us the bill. We paid the bill and when I explained them about food quality they didn’t respond/attention and ask us to get out. We are hulimiated by the words they used against us like (“chicken elumbu varaikum saaputu mudichitu Ippa vanthu complain pannureengala”). Our kid also didn’t eat it. Even before ordering we asked them to bring a well cooked grill.
Also, when I see the online reviews almost all of the reviews are negative that highlights the food quality and rude behaviour of the billing staff.
I don’t have bills they didn’t give bill. Waiter gave dummy bill slip and they collect it in cash counter while we pay the bill.

Read morehi last 3 months before my family going to Kodaikanal trip....10 members...all site seeing done and tired....rain fall also....my all family members going to this(ar rahman hotel....in life time i ate worst hotel....staffs are very very worst behaviour....i ordered 10 meals.....but staff said ordered some side dish....only meals no profit....this is not reqest....staff face very angry....i said ok na...no problem...i m going to other hotel...suddenly staff col....ok sir pls sit and eat...he said sorry....biut her activities are so ugly.....then i ordered side dish....nethli fry,,then gobi manjurian.....259,,220 are rates.....nethli fry is utter waste....only 12to 14 pieces....high rate....and smell are very old fish.......gobi ok fine....finally bill 2069rs.... i m going to owners cabin and i put scan the amount...then seeragam mittai in table...adhu oru periya kadhai......thayavu seidhu angu yaarum family ya pogogaadhinga pls....romba asinga...

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. The food was a letdown, with poor taste and quality, especially considering the hefty price tag.
However, what really left a sour taste was the unprofessional behavior of the manager/owner/staff at the billing counter. When I handed him the bill, which was slightly wet due to my washed hands, he laughed at me instead of apologizing or offering a solution. It was embarrassing and humiliating.
What's even more irritating is that the restaurant didn't provide a basic bill pad to prevent such incidents. It's not too much to expect a simple courtesy like that, especially when you're paying a premium for your meal.
Despite our disappointment with the food, we chose not to complain and paid the full amount. But the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, not...
