So on my quest to eat at all the OG restaurants in Kolkata during my short trip I found the OG Bijoli Grill. This tiny restaurant down the road from the Bijoli Cinema is charming. A tiny establishment with no more than a half a dozen tables , Im sure might be challenging with a large group or during their busy times of day. the Betki fry and prawn cutlet was on point and the Khosha Mangsho with fragrant , sweet ghee rice was a combination made in heaven. The malpua was the perfect ending to this meal. I saw others order Chinese food so I assume that is good too. But for me the pièce de résistance was the fish fry. I hope to visit again on my next trip...
Read moreworst food ....I have ordered for fried rice and chili chicken combo as per their menu card which they are serving during this puja...the quality of food is below average and not up to mark as per their food service is concerned....fried rice is not sumptuous and too poor in taste ....this is not expected from concern like bijoli grill. ...they are charging 270 for this combo pack and it's too meagre for one and so cheap in taste .....it's really mean from their part they are doing these kind of stuffs with their customers. ....it's really not trustworthy and feeling cheated from a renowned concerned like...

But in current crime I observed ,their food quality has drastically detotiated and not justified as compared to the prices. Except good services and cleanliness nothing is good interns of tasts and satisfaction. I ordered biriyani where I was actually struggling to feel the bijoli grills actual taste,but unfortunately the rice and mutton was half cooked, spices were not mixed properly.
