Literal frauds. I went in trusting the name of KC Das expecting mouth watering sweets, especially Rosogolla. However, the Rosogollas served were stale and slightly bitter. The prices are not so high but if you serve third grade sweets then prices do not mean anything. I would suggest you to skip this place if you want to save your good mood 😔

K.C. Das Grandson is of the oldest and finest sweet shops in Kolkata. It's very famous for its Rasgullas. It gives you the best taste of this most famous sweet of Kolakata. The rates were right priced with a good food quality taste.

This moderate shop in Kalighat has been there for quite some time. Though the shop lacks a glitzy touch, the salesman is very helpful and always smiling. The shop lacks a sitting arrangement; the elderly might face problems while having to stand while having the sweetmeats. But the best part of the shop is the history of the family of Nabin Chandra Das, K C Das and his successors. The legacy of the family and the contribution to Bengali sweets is evident in the photos and writing on the wall. Very few shops can boast of...

This very sweet parlour is very disappointing..We 3 friends went there and first ordered "luchi and cholar dal"..to my disbelief it was terrible in taste..Never expected to have this experience at least in Kolkata.. I have tasted other K.C Das joints in Bangalore, they are excellent in taste and ambience..Next we ordered sweets for us, and again to my horror, 2 out of 3 variety of sweet was completely rotten from inside and tasted sour..I was luck to get the...

Well, we were looking forward to visit one of our relatives post our darshan in Kalighat and My father had this store in mind. However, we were disappointed to see that this store has only tin boxes of Rasogullas and no other sweets. I have been to other KC Das outlets (very frequent to Esplanade more shop) and was expecting something similar here too. Not sure if things are off due to COVID but that's pretty much I saw and was little disappoint to...
