CIT Cafe — Restaurant in Kolkata

Below is the Escalation email to CITcafe:

Good evening,

This is Arindam, kindly check my order details in the attachment.

Last day 4th July 2021, I was in CIT cafe and had a very bad experience.

I invited my mother in law. My mother was also there to have some good time. My Aunt, wife and my 1.5 year old son also there.

But I feel so bad that I am unable to give them a good time due to the bad service by Cit cafe.

Only food is not enough, people go any restaurant or a cafe to spend some good time with family or friends.

What bad experience I faced?

I told my family that CIT cafe is best for Chinese food. The test is fantastic and the price and quantity is very good.

But when we visited there around 7 pm and we ordered food, we were waiting for an hour and got the only one item that is drums of heaven. one item was not available, that is fine.

In the name of drums of heaven we got 6 thin fried chicken pieces only. We disappointed so much that time. Never expected that. if you have pressure then don't serve food that is not as per the description.

you should not allow people after 8 pm or control the online order or manage it correctly.

Now a few times later we got our main course. In chicken chowmin I am not able to see chicken at all,, This is also not expected, anyway.

We ordered again and we were waiting for another hour for next order to serve.

But the 2nd order came when I asked for bill as we were not getting the food which we ordered for the 2nd time.

Till that time I lost my face infront of my in law and mother.

My 1.5 year Son was crying a lot. Because we were there for a long time and that is just because of delayed in serving the food.

We wait for 2 hours for food, can you imagine?

So why we were so late because WE were serving for online deliveries. WE were serving the people who came last but get food befor us.

This is not expected. Never recommend to anyone next time.

One of that restaurant that I can give a 5* rating (with a full capacity to satisfy your tongue belly). Love the passion of serving the food keeping up the quality upfront always.

#One of the very few restaurants I have ever rated as 5 star for its food TASTE and QUANTITY. It serves the food with Passion and with the utmost cost efficacy.

#Taste: 10/10 "If making and serving food is an art, CIT cafe is the Artist emeritus of it" Again I would say, as usual (based on last 8 years of eating experience there)..it kept it's flag of food service high always. Thanku so much for such a tasty food.

#Cost efficacy: Utilising brand value also, as per taste.10/10 Quantity remains bit less in online delivery orders. 8/10

I took my family for a dine in CIT Cafe last Sunday. I've been born and brought up in a residence where I've seen CIT Cafe from its nascent and budding stage. In the beginning we mostly have their food parceled and take home as they offered limited seating arrangements. Later on they've introduced seating arrangements in upper tier, so we used to be a regular visitor then. We've left the locality 15 years back, but used to have their food as take away occasionally. So last Sunday I felt nostalgic to visit there after such a long period. Now coming to food... We had BANG BANG SHRIMPS as starter. It was a slightly tangy and sweet offering, we liked the taste anyhow. In the main course we had BUTTERED NOODLES (It's not the 1st time I've tried this dish. I really love the taste and exquisite presentation), PAN FRIED MIXED NOODLES (Good taste, loaded with veggies, mushrooms, chicken and shrimps). As side dish we had WOK BRAISED FISH WITH MILD CHILI VINEGAR SAUCE (it is also not the item I've tried 1st time. It is a gourmet preparation including semi spicy thik gravy with portions of shallow fried coated fish and having exquisite taste) and CHICKEN WITH VEGETABLE (A thickish stew type preparation with shredded chicken and loaded with veggies). Our dessert included beautifully presented HOT CHOCOLATE BROWNIE WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM (need to exclusively mention the brownie. It tastes wonderful and had small portions of pistachios and almonds). Nevertheless to mention their warm...
