I'm writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and concern about my recent experience at Dosa Coffee Restaurant. Ordered the South Indian Tiffin Thali, which included a small masala dosa, idli, vada, regular white coconut chutney, spicy coconut chutney, and a drink (Cotton's branded lemonade). However, the drink was missing from the order.
The food quality was a major letdown. The potato mixture in the masala dosa was not fresh, the vada was unappetizing, the white coconut chutney was stale, and the sambar was ice-cold and not fresh. The only decent component was the spicy coconut chutney. But the most alarming issue was the idli, which I thought was the only good part initially, but later led to severe food poisoning symptoms.
After consuming the food, I experienced severe food poisoning, vomiting, and diarrhea. I strongly suspect that the restaurant served me stale or unhygienic food, which led to this condition. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and concerned about the restaurant's food handling and hygiene practices.
Given the serious impact on my health, I'm seeking compensation from the restaurant for the distress and medical expenses incurred. I hope the management takes my feedback seriously and takes immediate action to address these issues, including providing a refund and ensuring the quality of their food.

Read moreI have ordered paper dosa as well as masala dosa. They have given 2-3 teaspoon of sambar and chutney in a small tiny bowl, which is not sufficient at all.. size of masala dosa is very small.. Even the potato was rotten.
They have given same amount of chutney and sambhar even in a large paper dosa also. HOW CAN A person eat a large dosa with so less amount of chutney and sambhar. They have also burnt half of the paper dosa.
They even do not offer a glass of water when customer coming in.
Now Interesting point, You are charged extra for sambhar and chutney.
We howsoever ate and went out without complaining because complaining so many things at a time will waste our time, as they are talking longer to serve.
I have been to so many south Indian restaurant and I have even also been to south Indian states for dosas, Vada, idli but this is the worst experience i have. .. They are just money making . I have wasted my money there.
After further clarification with restaurant manager, they clarified that they give extra sambhar and chutney when asked. It was not told to us during that point of time. In Menu, it's written the chutney is chargeable but they have clarified that is special kind...
