I first noticed Elliott’s Wok from an Instagram reel, and today I finally visited to try it out. The place definitely has potential and with a few small improvements, it can grow into a local favorite.

Ambience – 6.5/10 The space is decent, though keeping the floors a bit cleaner would lift the overall vibe. Tables are good, but one suggestion would be to serve cutlery along with the food instead of keeping it on the tables, as that would feel more hygienic.

Service Since it’s a new shop, it’s understandable that things take a little time. Still, faster service and simple touches like offering clean water right away can make a big difference to customers’ first impression. We waited around 10–15 minutes for noodles and 7–8 minutes for pan-fried momos, which isn’t too long, but could definitely improve with practice.

Pan-fried Momos: 8/10

Things I think should be improved:

Provide clean drinking water without asking.

Serve cutlery with the food instead of leaving it on tables.

Reduce waiting time for orders.

Overall Every new restaurant has a learning curve, and Elliott’s Wok is no different. What stood out to me is that the food itself is good. If they work a little on service, hygiene, and speed, this place could easily shine and attract even more customers. I genuinely hope they keep improving, because they’re already off to a promising start.
