Pros:

The location is convenient, close to all the major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cons:

The room was dirty and unkempt. The sheets were stained and smelled musty. There was hair in the bathtub and on the floor. The toilet was dirty and clogged. The air conditioner was not working properly. Overall Experience:

I was very disappointed with my stay at The Dirty Inn. The room was dirty and unkempt, and the staff did not seem to be concerned about the cleanliness of the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would not stay here again.

Specific Examples:

When I first entered the room, I was immediately struck by the smell of mildew. The sheets were stained and there was hair in the bathtub. The toilet was dirty and clogged, and there was water on the floor around it. The air conditioner was not working properly, and the room was very hot and humid. Recommendations:

The management of The Dirty Inn should take steps to improve the cleanliness of the hotel. The sheets should be washed more often, and the bathrooms should be cleaned more thoroughly. The air conditioner should also be repaired.

I have been staying at different hotels in Kolkata for my business purpose. This is the Worst experience ever in this hotel. 1. Room was smelling really bad; 2. Found a rat in my room and I had to keep the door open at night to let it go; 3. The bed was not hygienic at all as you can see the the pillow in the picture in that room; 4. Poor and irresponsible behaviour by the staff/doorkeeper. When I was cheking out of the hotel, the doorkeeper asked for money and not letting the door of my cab to close. The staff members were laughing when I told them the presence of rat in the room and asked them to change the room. My kind suggestion to owner: If you are doing some business, do it properly. Don't get confuse as they incautiously advertise and may appear as in a well vicinity of Park Street. However, the premises in located in the narrow lanes and it's pretty difficult for a four wheeler to pave its way towards the hotel.

The major disappointing part is locality. You may see local guys unnecessarily roaming and performing bike stunts. Therefore, may cause a little discomfort for families (specially when you have ladies in company). My family attended a marriage reception at this premises and if I had known the locality before, possibly I would have dropped my plans.
