Jadu Kadai Restaurant — Restaurant in Kolkata

Once upon a time this restaurant was good. Usually with the time every one improves there service but this restaurant has decreased there Quality-Quantity. Only increased price in their menu.

Previously this place used to serve good quality momo’s but now any local street food vendor serves better quality at 1/3 price of this place. Only good thing about the momo was the presentation. We ordered 3 plate momo but it was total loss.

We had also had chicken Hakka noodles. 230/- per plate, serves 1 adult. It wasn’t good, chicken quantity was too less. Hardly we found egg and other veggies. We took this as delivery. Later on we checked for Any kind of Sauce in the packet but it wasn’t there. They only gave 2 packets of noodles. No fork, no sauce, no chilis dipped in vinegar. Now, let’s talk about the taste - any time any where any good street food vendor serves better quality more tasty noodles than this place in 1/3 price.

I recently ordered some dishes amounting to more than 2000 from this restaurant. We ordered 2 mushroom dishes amounting to 460. Whereas they served the quantity of one dish into 2 packets by taking the full price. What's more surprising is when we complained, the representative was extremely rude and unprofessional in his conversation and instead blamed on the zomato delivery boy stating that he has dropped the food or may have eaten on the way. Any sound person who would hear this would understand that this is a ridiculous story. They took the full price and delivered less. They explicitly said they won't refund the amount nor would they deliver another dish to make it up. They didn't even recognize their mistake and argued instead so badly. So please folks don't order from here Also please choose other food joints to dine in. I can even attach the photo to prove my point. Had a horrible experience with them. A few days back we ordered from this outlet and i am very happy to say that this outlet never disappointed me. On various occasions we visited this outlet for lunch or dinner and every time it was great. This time we ordered veg fried rice and chilli paneer. Firstly the quantity was good.
