Located by the lane of EM Bypass, Kitchen 165 stands tall with it's glitz and grace being a part of Hotel NX. The newest addition to the city of joy, Hotel NX has a lot to offer not just in terms of embellished accomodations, but also the supremely affordable fine dining experience it provides at Kitchen 165.
With very sophisticated interiors, a bluish-white theme, quality instrumental music, A La Carte and Buffet dining options, Kitchen 165 makes serves for quite a start. The service is slow and can be improved upon. That said, the place can easily boast of being a Multicuisine for it's refined take on Indian, as well as Chinese dishes as well as Indian ones.
We went for their eventful Buffet, full of grandeur that comes at just INR 649. The number and quality of dishes served at this range is quite a handsome treat, if you ask me. At the given range, what you get is as follows:
The Starters are done well to perfection to suit to your tastebuds. Special recommendations would go towards the Fish Finger, and the Ajwani Fish Tikka. Start with them wisely as you make way for the wonderful Main Course up your way!
Mutton Biryani and Murg Do Pyaza hands down tops my list. The Mutton pieces are warm, tender, moist and juicy to the right deal, the rice is light and fragrant and with a pinch of the Bengali's favourite Potato and Egg, it just melts into the mouth. Murg Do Pyaza compliments it just right with the perfect blend of spice and richness. These two make a wonder, just by themselves.
Post mains, there is a dedicated DESSERT section with your favourite Ice-Creams, Cakes, and Sweets. Don't forget to dive in here after a hearty meal.
To sum it up, if you're not experiencing such a luxurious buffet at a Price this pretty, you're surely missing out. Hop in here with friends and family, and have a...

It's almost end of our favourite mango season, so it's time to cherish our mango obsession with some unique recipes made by great chefs at Kitchen 165!
Why mango fiesta at Kitchen 165 is so special? The only answer is that they haven't put mango just randomly in any dishes- balanced the sweetness and sourness of mango with each ingredients and thought of some new ways to use mango.
For example, pizza mexicana; it's just not a sweet type pizza top mango cubes, rather with a spiciness of red chilli, aroma of coriander and also the sauce is different from normal pizza sauce.
Papadam stuffed with mango salsa is a must must try from Mango fiesta menu, as it has a bang on aftertaste of sourness and spiciness which gonna open up each of your tastebud.
Prawn fafda with mango mojo sauce is another favourite one; recommended for every prawn lovers; crispy fried prawns with another different tasted mango sauce- a dish to drool over.
Apart from these, they have many more dishes in their Mango Fiesta menu like quasadilla, mango leaf wrapped bhetki paturi(🤤), cocktails and mocktails and more.
Last thing not to miss is the dessert, specially the Mango Chilli Mousse- yes mousse with small cubes of mango and chilli oil- absolutely new taste in desserts.
So for mango lovers, it's the last month for you to enjoy mango and some unique...
Read moreWe went to Kitchen 165 on Astumi for dinner buffet. Located inside NX Hotel they've a really beautiful dine in area, just perfect for family dinner. The buffet costs Rs.899 for brilliant spread of dishes and live music.
Starters (5/5) Coming to the food, Starters weren't served on table. But no issue every starter tasted brilliant. Specially tandoori chicken & fish fry. Apart from that multiple veg items and salad were present. They were refilling it fast even when they were crowded, hence no complaint.
Mains (4/5) Mains include Chinese and Indian dishes. In Chinese Noodles & Chilli Chicken tasted okay. But in Indian Fish, Paneer, Chicken Kasha tasted good. Unlike similarly priced buffets where mains aren't usually good, here mains were actually enjoyable. However Mutton Biryani could have been better.
Desserts (4/5) Dessert section was very simple. Payesh, Rasogolla, Gulab Jamun & Vanilla Ice Cream, all tasted brilliant. One thing I didn't like is that they serve very small plastic water bottles, and it creates a lot of wastage after single use.
For the price of Rs.899 I really enjoyed the buffet. You can also book coupons from Nearbuy for additional off. Hope to...
