Kookie Jar — Restaurant in Kolkata

Who doesn't know Kookie Kar? Atleast as a kolkatan you must know this bakery.

Their range of cakes, bakery breads, puffs, icecreams and kid ranged dishes are all fantastic.

The vibrancy of this bakery is just top notch. My family and I love everything from here and rarely do they go wrong. So many birthdays have been celebrated with KJ cakes...from getting them customised with a childish carton to ordering their pineapple/blackberry cakes or their chocolate cakes...we have all grown up.

Their mangio cafe is expensive but exquisite. Post Covid their prices have gone up and even though it hurts to pay more for the same chocolate boat now even after the pandemic. I take it with a pinch of salt as a real treat.

I splurge on KJ now when there's a celebration. It makes it worth it...it adds value and memories to it.

They have lovely chocolates and cookies too depending upon festivals and that makes it more special.

Thank you KJ...but would you make yourself a Lil cheaper so that I get greedier or should I maintain this so that I don't end up becoming a potato. Jokes aside, KJ has...

We went for some snacks and pastry and requested for heating the shawarma and the puff pastry before packing it up for us. Neither did they heat the same, they forgot to pack our dessert also. We had specifically requested for heating up the shawarma and they lied upfront that it was freshly done and thus would be warm. I don’t understand the shop is overstaffed and still they are providing this type of service. They should really think of amending their service atleast else it cannot survive in this competitive world where we get better service...

We visit here twice a week at least... To yum on the chicken envelope and chocolate eclair 😋. Birthday cakes are amazing at Kookie Jar too. Cards and cash accepted here. Parking available. The staff at Kookie Jar are very friendly and professional, big ups!! My girlfriend would have chocolate eclair only from Kookie Jar😛. Surely recommended this place to all my friends and family.
