While we lived in Alipur, I discovered the modest unassuming Drive in snack bar beside the women run petrol pump before the Woodlands lane. Often I visited the place with my family and enjoyed their South Indian dishes and the coffee. The casual acquaintance changed to a deep attraction for me when I tried their Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Roadside dhaba in Kolkata at Alipore. Attached to Bharat petroleum fuel station. Best for morning and evening snacks. I have had their food so many times but their taste remains the same for me and it attracts me every time I pass the dhaba. 'Dosa' is the one of the best item of them, maybe they are the best dosa maker in Kolkata. Ambience is okay and you can get the food in your car also.
