The maacher kochuri served here is much much better than Ganesh's kochuri which is in the next lane. The didi making the food and serving people is also courteous and listens to what customers ask for unlike Ganesh's shop where the people are very rude. The alur dom served along with kochuri was also very tasty. We saw uncle while we were leaving the shop and though we didn't have a conversation with him, he looked like a sojjon bekti. The ambience is classic north Kolkata with a huge rowak on the opposite side of the shop where we sat and enjoyed our meal. Theres also a small shop beside the main shop which has 2 long benches and people can sit there. The service was very prompt again unlike Ganesh's shop. This might seem like a hate post towards Ganesh's kochuri shop rather than a review of Pal cabin but I assure you it's really not. 😂 Pal cabin is much better. Try it for youself to validate.
