Highly unpleasant walk in experience. I walked upto the counter & placed an order. My order was acknowledged but there was no activity. Then I walked upto the billing counter & repeated the order. This time I was asked to wait for 5 mins. I was incredibly hungry & they were passing the ball. I ordered for non veg wrap which was on the menu, but they had no interest to serve a wrap. By this time, we had already passed 9 mins in total & was asked to wait more as two staffs were serving two customers who arrived ahead of me ( acceptable ). The other two were collecting items & packaging them for online order delivery that arrived after my order. Yet they were given priority as the staff to prepare the wrap was involved at a very later stage, hence he fell back on the queue & had to wait till the rest are done. There is no supervision, no ordering being maintained, seemed like a free ground. I shouldn’t suffer for your reluctance & mismanagement. Time is very important & one should start respecting that. When asked for the store manager, the staff denied sharing information. I left the store without food, after waiting for 12 mins & yet there was no intent to prepare the order. Subway as a brand has better business to do than impressing the suited locals.

Read moreI have been a BIG fan of subway, have loved the consistency and amazing taste of sandwiches. However, Subway New Alipore has completely changed my opinions and thought of Subway. I recently ordered 1 chicken teriyaki sandwich, 1 tandoori chicken sandwich and 1 chatpata chana patty sandwich through Zomato. Firstly, there was no demarcation of the sandwiches, between veg and non veg. My mother being a vegetarian could not have the Chatpata chana sandwich as we were unsure. On calling Subway, I was told very callously that it was casually missed, and it was not anything big to be made an issue. Secondly, the chicken sandwiches had 1 small peice of chicken only. This is has never been the case before. Thirdly, we had requested for toasted sandwiches, but none were toasted Fourth, no tissues provided. Fifth, there was improportinate usage of sauce. None of sandwiches met the Subway standard, unless the overall standard has dropped.
Although Zomato had apologied for no fault of their, but Subway New Alipore was indifferent. Honestly, this has left a bad taste.

I have been waiting for my order for more than an our but your representative does not have the courtesy to speak over the call and tell me why the delay. He rather chooses to say that I dont have the time to speak. The problem is you being a brand sometimes forget that its because of your customer that you are there and not otherwise. But your arrogance seems otherwise. Learn basics and I will surely take up the case with subway india so they assure better service and live upto the name they have.
