As the name says The Burger Shop is specialized in burgers located just opposite to Lake Mall inside a residential flat decorated nicely that made it a cafe. Went there on their 2nd year birthday and got BOGO offer on burgers.
Lemonade & Ice Tea @ Rs.100 (2/5) We started with 2 refreshing drinks but I didn't like the Lemonade, Ice Tea was good. Drinks could have been served in a real glass, it looks and feels much better.
Lemon Parmesan Wings @ Rs.260 (3/5) Wings were bit too salty than my liking. Parmesan usually is salty so they could've balanced it out. Otherwise, it tasted okay but for only 6 pieces it's bit expensive.
Smashed Beef Burger @ Rs.460 (5/5) Smashed Burger was lip smacking good. Double beef patty perfectly grilled and smashed with the cheese and the sweetness of onion. They served potato wedges as well. It was one of the best I've ever tried. Highly recommended.
The Lava Pork Burger @ Rs.500 (3.5/5) This one has cheese filled pork-based patty, although very well made but I liked the Smashed Burger more. I'll say you should order the yellow highlighted burgers from their menu; those are actually their special one.
They've wide price range of burgers from Rs.300 - 700, but it’s bit on the expensive side. If you don't get BOGO offer or don't have Zomato gold it will pinch your pocket a bit, but the overall experience...

This burger spot, tucked away on the 2nd floor of an apartment opposite Lake Mall, feels more like someone’s home turned café. The vibe is homely, cozy, around 16-seater, and gives off a simple yet warm atmosphere. Don’t expect heavy décor—it's minimal, sometimes just paper plates—but that doesn’t take away from what really matters here: the burgers.
The burgers are big, handcrafted, and customizable, served with fresh handmade fries on the side.
The buns are soft, though they could be a little larger compared to the patty. Drinks were average, nothing standout. Price-wise, burgers range around ₹500–₹700, which feels a bit steep, especially given the homely setup. Still, the taste and quality are top-notch, easily ranking among the best burgers in Kolkata.
✅ Quick Take:
Food – Juicy patties, bold flavors, handcrafted goodness
Vibe – Cozy, homely, small space, monochrome vintage touch
Price – On the higher side 💸
Service – Friendly & quick
X-factor – One of the best handcrafted burgers in the city
✨ Verdict: Go if you’re chasing quality over ambience, and don’t mind climbing two flights of stairs. The taste makes...
Read moreThis is one of those places which are a bit difficult to find, but once one does, that stays etched in the memory. This shop is indeed difficult to find, tucked away on the 2nd floor of a residential building near Deshapriya Park. One has to ring a bell like someone's home to get it and it is plain and simply a revamped flat. If one manages to go past the damp smell of the place and find a seat amongst the meagre amount of seating, only then does the main play start. They have an extensive menu of burgers, as the name would suggest, along with pastas, sandwiches and the lot. I tried the Chilli Cheese Beef Burger complimented with the Strawberry Ice Cream Shake and the whole meal was heavenly. The patty was perfectly cooked and tender, the cheese, the American pickle and the veggies blanketing it within the bed of the soft bun created a near-perfect burger construct and the Chilli was simply phenomenal with a kick of heat which I very much liked. I would certainly go back to try out their other dishes, but please note that there is almost nothing for our vegetarian friends on offer. A must try for...
