I visited Noor Us Sabah Palace for breakfast on Sunday around 10 AM. The place is undeniably beautiful with a lovely view of the lake truly a great location. However the breakfast experience was quite disappointing. The service was slow and the breakfast menu had very limited options. The most concerning part was the billing experience. They didn’t provide a bill saying we were their first customers and the billing counter hadn’t opened yet. They also refused to accept card payment citing a network issue. They took my phone number promising to send the bill later but I never received it. This is not the level of service or professionalism I expected from such a reputed hotel. Read moreThe location is dreamy, one could look down to see the whole city and the lake from top of the hill. The rooms and restaurants have a very aesthetic view of the sunset. The restaurants have spacious open garden to walk around.
We ordered Chicken Razala, Mutton Rogan Josh, Navratan Sabz, Bhopali Tarkari, Death by Chocolate and Gajar Halwa. The dishes were tasty but less in portion, especially for the prize we were paying. A cup of Gajar Halwa costed around ₹250, which is expensive. The service was excellent. The servers suggested dishes according to our tastes and wants, were very prompt and humble.
