I recently visited Nafees Family Restaurant at Indore Palace and was quite disappointed with my experience. Despite its good ratings, the reality did not meet expectations.
Firstly, the ambience of the restaurant needs significant improvement. The lighting is extremely dull, making it difficult to see what’s on your plate. This detracts from the overall dining experience, as a well-lit environment is essential for enjoying a meal.
Moreover, the staff were not very friendly. They rarely smiled and did not make me feel welcome. Customer service plays a crucial role in the overall experience, and unfortunately, this aspect was lacking.
I was also disappointed to learn that complimentary raita and onions are not provided with the Biryani. When I requested onions and lemon, I was told, rather rudely, that these are not offered for free. Even after offering to pay for them, the staff's attitude did not improve. They eventually provided a chargeable portion, but the whole interaction left a bad taste.
Additionally, the tables are very congested, making it uncomfortable for a single sitting. There is barely any space to move or enjoy your meal without feeling cramped.
Lastly, when I asked for the remaining food to be parceled, the staff discarded it instead, despite me having paid for it. This was extremely frustrating and felt wasteful.
Overall, my visit to Nafees Family Restaurant was far from satisfactory. There are several areas that need attention and improvement, especially in terms of customer service and ambience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the...
Read moreNafees Restaurant offers a tantalizing journey into the world of Mughlai cuisine, where each dish boasts an authentic blend of spices and flavors. The Butter Chicken is a highlight, with its creamy tomato-based sauce complementing tender chicken pieces. The aromatic Biryani, intricately layered with fragrant basmati rice and marinated meats, is a testament to the chef's expertise.
However, the restaurant's ambience falls short of its culinary prowess. The decor seems frozen in time, lacking the contemporary touch that many patrons seek in a dining experience. The outdated furnishings and dim lighting contribute to a somewhat uninspiring atmosphere.
Despite the ambience drawbacks, the attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience, offering recommendations and ensuring prompt service. The restaurant's commitment to traditional Mughlai recipes is evident, providing a satisfying culinary journey for enthusiasts of this cuisine.
In summary, while Nafees excels in delivering delectable Mughlai fare, an ambience upgrade would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience and bring it in line with the quality...
Read moreThough this store is well known in Indore from years, the recent staff service is very deceitful (fraud). I am compelled to write a review as this occurred to me more than twice, once with while at the store and second time with food delivery. Here's the description and step you can take as preventive measure: They are known to charge additional money on your bill with no reason either for extra food or water charges No consistent delivery charges (when I ordered, it was standard 30rs and then later on changed to 50rs (this was not a case of ordering less items). When the guy came for delivery, he gave no receipt and asked for 100rs additional on food plus 50rs delivery charges. When asked for receipt, he said he don't have one and fooled around for 10-15mins and then went back to vehicle to grab a receipt which came out to be exactly the opposite of what he initially asked for.
Nafees, as Indori we loved your food but if this kind of services continues, I will no longer be happy to visit. All people out there, please check your receipt. If you see something, say...
