Nandanvan restaurant — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

I visited Nandanvan Restaurant in Pachmarhi during my recent trip, but honestly, the experience was not very satisfying The restaurant looks fine from the outside and has decent seating, but the main issue was the food Whatever we ordered tasted very fika-fika (bland) It felt like they forgot to put salt or proper spices in most of the dishes When you are hungry after sightseeing, you really expect tasty food, but here the taste was missing completely Eating there didn’t feel enjoyable at all

On top of that, the prices were much higher than expected I don’t mind paying extra for good food, but paying high rates for such average taste doesn’t make sense. Pachmarhi is a tourist place so some price hike is understandable, but at least the food should match the price Sadly, it didn’t.

Another thing to be careful about many gypsy drivers here take tourists only to the restaurants owned by their known people or relatives. That’s exactly how I ended up at Nandanvan So if your driver insists on taking you there, I suggest you explore other options on your own instead of just agreeing

I visited this restaurant yesterday....as a traveller u wish that u will get good food and environment in such a costly restaurant.....first starting with the order of the food there was no one to receive our order.... secondly the hygiene is questionable....the worker's and the owner were rude....if u ask anything to them either they wouldn't reply or ignore you.....there were no cutlery available at the table even after asking them....the worst part was the quality of the food....I haven't eaten such low quality food since last decade even with such high prices....the food prices were just two times higher than the normal restaurant... the chapatis were like thick papad and if u didn't handle with care they will make a cut on your hand....I advise you to never visit this fraud restaurant in Panchmarhi.... Visit Beta Bavarchi instead...

Place is uncleaned, foul smelling, after a long wait order came, ordered 6 thalis which are bit overpriced in terms of number of dishes provided, also whole order was not served when repeatedly asked why, they provided us excuse that they are short-staffed, didn't understood what is the relationship between staffing and order, felt cheated, staff was rude as if they are providing favor for free. On top of it when complained with manager he behaved rudely. In between of all this mess we saw a group of 13 people leaving coz they were not greeted properly and had a heated argument with staff over there. Suggest people to go somewhere else coz agents​(drivers as well as guides) will suggest you that place, might they get some commission or something else with such...
