I loved the experience at the restaurant! Kindly go through the images (esp of the menu card). We visited the restaurant on the 1st floor. This review pertains to that.
Postives : Food related -The preparation is amazing! (Do try the paneer chilli when you visit!) -The serving size is massive. It honestly justifies the price for each dish. -In the main course(Indian dishes) there is an option available for full plate and half plate which is actually a amazing (not available for Chinese or pasta)
Menu related [MUST READ] -The menu is very detailed and clear about the use of aginomoto in certain food items and that we can opt out of it. (I've never seen this in another hotel before) -The menu very clearly states about how food can have allergens and to alert the staff about any allergies. -The menu aslo has a whole page dedicated to how they care about the vegetarians and take great precaution and utmost care in maintaining the hygiene of food. This was very impressive and heartwarming actually. It shows the intricate care of the hotel!
Other -The staff is very attentive and courteous -The restaurant is quite huge -The waiting area outside is very aesthetic and good for pictures
Cons : -You have to go the 2nd floor to wash hands, there is no washroom on the 1st floor which is quite odd. -The wait time between certain dishes is quite long. (They took so long in getting our masala papad that we had forgotten we had ordered it!! And actually forgot to bring the Ceaser salad)
OVERALL: As you can see, the postives of this restaurant are far more than the negatives. It has everything you would want from a restaurant. It's a must visit hotel if you visit Indore , Madhya...
ย ย ย Read moreHave you ever gotten paid to dine at a restaurant? Well, I have and Shreemaya made that happen. I little bit of background first -- my family and I eat at least once a week at their second-floor restaurant. The service, food and in particular the restaurant manager Mr. Chaudhry and hotel manager Mr. Singh are just exceptional human beings who truly put the customer's satisfaction first. In all my global travels I have not found a second restaurant that even comes close to their focus on customer satisfaction and quality of food. -- anyways, back to the story. Two weeks ago after we filled out the feedback form + settled the bill and were on our way home, we received a call from the hotel manager Mr. Singh. The restaurant as part of their process requires everyone that dines there to fill out a feedback form that has a field for a phone number. Mr. Singh had called to let us know we had been overcharged and that the next we would visit the amount would be credited back to us. Now, this is the amazing part. We went back last week and believe it or not without us reminding us the credit was given to us and because the total bill was less than the extra amount charged, we actually walked out with money + were made to feel like we were paid to eat there. Yes I know we still paid for both the meals and that the restaurant did screw it up, but it's the way they handled this failure that left a deep...
