Gordhan Thal — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

Hello guys,

Visited the place in weekend on sunday for having lunch with my family.

The place has good ambiance, with ground and first floor sitting.

Now talking about the food, the thali served had around 26 items in total like 2 salad, 3 chatni, 2 dal, 2 veggies, 1 paneer preparation, roti, puri, paratha, papad, basuni, malpua, kadi and dal batti and Butter milk.

Well the thali was full of items and the food is served with containers just like any other thali system apparently from roti and puri none of them were hot, all cold food was served to us in the middle of the day. One of the starter was really awful in taste, i dont even remember its name.

Panner had good taste, Vegetable had good taste, but there were really few options that i liked, a lot of items were tasteless, especially all chati's, Chanti should give u a different taste as a taste enhancer, it being tasteless makes no sense.

Papad, Butter Milk and basuni were good.

No doubt service was really really fast, things were served as I asked for them but while serving food with speed, it should be a concern that food served should be hot. serving proper taste with crowd on sunday is a challenge for most of the restaurant, i guess they also have to work on this part.

Recommended for Gujrati & Rajisthani less spicy...

"Highly NOT Recommended". Overall, Food taste (0/5) Packaging (0/5) and Quantity (0/5). Sorry, I should have typed (-) minus "(-5/5)" I wish I could give 0 stars to them but sadly that option isn't available here. The packaging of food was very very poor, it could be opened easily by anyone as there were no proper tapes applied, no label of "GORDHAN THALI", simply a cloth carry bag with a knot NO tapes on outer pack also the quantity of food was that like even a single person could not be feed properly for the price paid (₹450 + ₹210 = ₹660) and was literally unsatisfactory. Also, the taste of food was worst. Earlier around 5 years ago I loved their food when outlet was near Geeta Bhawan Square, but not it (GORDHAN THALI) has became a trash. What if the delivery partner does some mischievous and unlawful activity with food then will your restaurant take responsibility? Take some more money per order IN CHARITY from customers ₹5-10 more per package to APPLY TAPES with proper packaging. AT LAST, DON'T WASTE...

The restaurant does not clearly specified it’s terms and conditions. If you are booking the table using Swiggy Dineout then please don’t use it , at the time of Billing they refused to take payments using Dineout. I have paid 899/- rupees per person but considering the price it is absolutely not worth it. I would rather suggest to go in Malhar mall at Manvhavaan restaurant where you would get better fresh and tasty food along with great discount. ( approx 250 /- per person). Gordhan Thali really needs to improve in hospitality as well as price in this competitive marketplace else No one will appreciate in...
